Its simple really,this site belongs to me,LegBarnes ,Nanny Red,Heimdall as much as it does anyone else!No one is bigger or better,no one has more right to be here IMO than anyone else.
Its our site and without us it would not exist.
The people that post are the site,its personality,its feel.
So its only fair that we have a say in who "rules" the place.I can put hand on heart and say that Newkit is a hell of a worse place especially over the last year or so,it has changed as a result of terrible card happy modship.
Just look at the board a few years back,We had a laugh some got cards but they were soon forgot about...NOW??You enter any thread and about 30-40% of all posters have cards!
It was never like that,so ask this?Have posters got more out of order collectively..are we worse people than a few years back or are cards too easily handed out..?
Its a no brainer really!

Am I gonna get banned again?
I reckon BadBob should be removed off the moderating team at once for the good of the forum.
And NO it aint about my cards..I deserve mine probably.But the board is like a multi coloured card rainbow..surely we aint all kunts?

To be honest I'm pretty happy with the moderation of the forum at the minute Baz. There will always be some decisions that people disagree with, no mod will get it right every time but lets face it - Newkit has always needed a fair amount of moderation. I prefer that than having all the WUMs of the day messing it up.

I also suspect if you cant get let your thing with Bob go your going to end up permanently banned which is something I wouldn't want to see - your a funny lad!

) but you're really doing my nut in these days.

the problem with the form these days isn't posters like mick (i mean, how the feck could it be?), or mods like bob (who is a very good mod, imo). no, the problem with the forum these days is people like yourself banging on all the time about how unfair and wrong the forum is.

Whoever mod you pick to take decissions here would be soon painted as bad, no matter who you choose: Scott? Andy? Wooly? Pick anyone. As soon he takes a decission, no matter how much he's liked, he'll start getting stick. When you take a decission you often please someone and you píss off someone.

THe mods have a very difficult job, leave them alone.

Barry, I can understand why you were angry in the previous weeks as I was angry about that footie atmosphere too. But you have to come back to the style of posting that led you to not having cards. You did your points well.

Ok, I know sometimes you have to tell kunt to someone but do it everynow and then and not 8 times in a thread, which is what it will get you banned!

You can't get away from fact tho some of us are used as scape goats most of time and carded or baned just cos maybe the mods wanna make a point.

Its funny as well as it is most of time the people that wasn't totaly happy with rafa.

Don't bring up lando cos every time he posts he is looking to get baned. :nod

Not saying any mod as such is out of order or nothing but many people say things on here and only some of the people get cards for it.

i like bob, all the mods, when they get the job, change. they have to. and it sucks. would be perfect wth no mods. or mods frmo outside how neevr post. but that'll never happen so we gotta support them

The Mods do a good job without them this place would more fun

To blame the mods for all the problems on this site is like a football team blaming the ref because they are playing badly. It makes people feel a little bit better to blame the Mods, but the truth is its not the Mods fault its the posters fault.

I really think its time it was decided whether people want this site to be a Liverpool fc discussion site, or maybe just an "up the reds " site with lots of arm raised smilies. (Maybe Judge could do a poll?)

What I do find laughable is when the happy clappers say "where are all the anti's now?" and then when one posts they get called a sh!t by a Mod.

So if thats the type of forum people want your welcome to it.

Well, you've got one thing right anyway.

Here's a thought, perhaps you could stop calling people you disagreed with a kunt every post and you might have fewer cards? As it stands, one of our best football posters by a country mile is taking a break from this place, in large part because of comments from you. So, carry on blaming me if it makes you feel better but, if you're honest with yourself, you'll know that you're a big part of the problem around here of late. It's a shame, really, because it wasn't so long ago that you were one of our better posters. It seemed as though you'd put your past troubles behind you and had turned over a new leaf. Wishful thinking, I guess.

If correct I assume that observation extends to all WUMS and WOPDONGS aswell ?

If by "us" you mean the current membership I've have to tell you you're wrong on both counts

I'ts not "our" site, we just participate in it . Furthermore, it existed before "we" arrived and will probably continue long after we've left.

A year ago the forum was full of major flame wars, it's a worse place now only if you think the "card happy mods " are trying to curb that.

Like I said , previously the forum was full of major flames wars. People are no worse or better, but strangely enough flame wars are fewer and less protracted.

If you don't like something , skip it you don't have to reply to it . Its just a forum on the internet at the end of the day , it means NOTHING and i find it sad that we let some cards bother us . I'll be here for 2 years come this october , considerbly not as long as some of you but i've managed to avoid being carded , because like i said if i don't like something i argue it in a rational manner instead of just calling some one names . Barry mate , its a tough job to be a mod , damned if you do and damned if you don't , i think the level of moderation is quite reasonable in here and anyone is quite welcome to leave if they don't like it . End of the day we are all strangers behind a computer , its time we stop treating this forum as if its a matter of life and death
