wow, i never started this thread or mentioned my cards mate, i just stated a few facts then replied to others. barry has been banned for doing what others do on a regular basis, the problem always comes down to consistency.

he deserved his ban, but be consistent and issue cards to EVERYONE who does the same thing to other posters, not just mods.

its not rocket science mate. even if people boycott the forum nothing will change because the mods don't see it as a problem.

I think Badbob got it right when he said it was like a little family on here. We bicker and fall out, but when someone disappears for a while it gets noticed and sometimes they are even missed.

And while no one is probably anything like the image they project in their posts (Ciggy is probably a six foot docker, and I know for a fact that Dawson is really a sexy blond scottish bird with enormous breasts) it makes reading posts a little more personal and less like you are just reading some strangers opinion.

This forum is a very close knitted community, I think it is sad to see things become overly pedantic and people shunned so easily. It goes against my morals and I think this could be a better place with some maturity and better existizing of power. I'm thinking maybe it is appropriate if I apply for moderator-ship, as has been suggested to me by some members. I have a firm policy for Liverpool

I've never seen a ban that had a fixed time schedule. I'd say most of the bans seek to chill down posters a bit. Nobody likes regular members being banned, neither do the moderators me thinks.

I'd wonder if someone could program a script in the forum, to automatically remove a card every month or fifteen days, if this was done automatically the mods wouldn't have to keep track of cards, and good behaviours or chilling downs would mean removing a card. There would be less drama about those little pictures below the avatar. I have a well deserved one, but it doesn't affect me much  It's not like wearing chains all day.
