Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

The only thing that frightens me about Chelsea is Drogba. When he is on form he can tear ANY defence to shreds. Toss of a coin type game, one silly mistake or moment of magic will win this, and we are more likely to provide either!

If we get past Chelsea I think Barca will be easier (not easy). Are we at home first ?

hang on a minute, we're the top ranked team in Europe. so why are y'all crying like girls cos we drawn Chelsea then barca/bayern? We are Liverpool FC, we have Rafa who can out mastermind all these teams in his fking sleep. Wake up people, we knocked 5 past Real Madrid. You think we have a problem against any of these teams left in?

roll on number 6.

that kind of arrogance which cost us last year against the chavs , they've got a quality team and madrid is easier than chelsea and barca .

Shouldn't wish injuries on othe rplayers or do you know something about Messi liking Hamsters :hearts  ?

Ok it's a tough draw but we've beaten the chavs convincingly this season, so no reason not to do that again and we've beaten Barcelona before as well. The team that scares me most is probably Bayern as they are a bit more of an unknown quantity but hopefully Barcelona can get through.

Bottom line youhave to beat the best to lift the cup so bring them on!!  :buttrock  :buttrock

Yeah very true. He was so hard to keep up with last year in that semi. We need to make sure we do a good job in the first leg. If we don't we will only be making it harder on ourselves for the return.

I have complete faith in rafa and think/hope we progress... i watched what hiddink did for australia and there is no doubting his abilities as manager...a battle of the best tacticians in football?

If 10 would be total joy for the draws, and 0 total disaster, this is a 1

Wow, everyone is so negative.  :wwww  :wwww

Come on its not that bloody bad. Bad would have been drawn against Manure first then having to play the winner of Arsenal and Chelsea.

the prospect of us and them in the final would be a disaster for football, especially in Rome.

My Manc mates are texting me saying they're already in the final, cocky w@nkers
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road
