Perhaps when the Rooney deal goes through they will buy Finnan and Cortes will fight for a place with Josemi. Rafa likes players who can play a variety of positions and with those to and Jamie we will have prob the most flexible defence in the prem. Whats gonna happen with Henchoz tho?
The man who came to merseyside from Newcastle, the man who says he's part of Liverpool as much as the Liver building. When he was needed Alan Kennedy was there. And with now just 8 minutes to go it could be that Alan Kennedy has made a little history.

speaking of henchoz, why wasn't he on the bench on sunday? is he injured or something? surely he is a more suitable replacement for sami than traore.

It was a surprise to read of Jimis surprise to be included in the squad let alone come on after only a few mins, perhaps he took the chance to have a look at jim to decide wether or not to flog him (as in sell him). It sounded like he wasnt confident in his own fitness as well.
