What is the point of Bam?

It's funny, because you look at the squad you listed, and you woudn't have thought adding
an aging midfielder would have made that much difference.

Are we lacking something like that now? Maybe Hamman's prescence in the squad now would
be something similar? Everyone thought Gary Mac was past it........

I think it helped Gary Mac was British, to have the impact he had.

They were three great signings and although Heskey went off the boil towards the end, all of them brought a lot to the squad. Just a shame Babbel got sick, because he was one of the finest right backs i've seen at Anfield for years and years.

Squad was not bad then i was a massive fan of berger and loved him when he scored two goals in his first season againt chelsea when we won 5-1..
I have to admit though we probably have got the best squad now since ages all we need is a couple more quality players.

I always like Berger as a player, just a shame we never signed a proper LM

Unfortunatley I had a look on LMA manager but the games database didnt go back to 1899/1900. I really wanted to know how good the squad was, and of what relevance it had on the team today.
