If there was a time to face Barca, it was was two weeks ago. Although who is to say/know that their bliiiiiiip wont continue into the next round if they get passed Lyon (in compared to their flying form in the first half of the season)

I am interested in the prospect of Bayern though because that would complete all the big scalps for Rafa to take in Europe.

A tie with bayern would be highly entertaining aswel. Dont think they will sit back which will be better for us!!
Think it was under houllier when we beat them in the super cup was it 3-2..
That was also when england beat germany 5-1.. kahn conceding 8 goals all from liverpool players in those two matches!! If im right i think  :Oo:

Doesn't matter who we get. They're all prime picks. Doesn't matter who we get, because as usual we'll draw a team who we'll have no chance against, then progress to the semi-finals as usual.

Im not really worried who we get and that includes United. The fact is whoever the other 7 teams are everyone of them will say the same thing - WE DONT WANT LIVERPOOL

And if we win it will because they were poor on the night . Just like those other massive (poor ) teams we have beaten in CL :D

In fairness they were shocking :D

I may be cautious, but I would happily settle for Porto or Villareal, I don't want the mancs...... infact I don't want an English club. I want all the English clubs knocked out as soon as possible (apart from ourselves of course) and a nice blend of cr@ppy teams and cannon fodder fed to us till the final.
For the final itself I would like Barca. A big name team who I think we can beat (we don't want it too easy. ) :D

What he said! It's a bit too gung-ho to say we'll take on anybody. the truth is ourselves and Arsenal had by far the toughest route to the final last year (having to go through 3 English teams) and it was a tall order for either of us. Barca, Chelsea, Arsenal and the mancs in one side with us, Munich, Porto and Villareal in the other would be the dream ticket for me.

I can't see the Gooners or the mancs stumbling tonight. Inter were SHOCKING in their first leg plus they are missing Chivu, Materazzi, Burdisso and possible Samuel tonight, they will get murdered at trafford. Arsenal should score in Rome. Expect four of the eight teams to be English and 3 from 4 in the semi-finals.
