Fuck off!
Have you got the right thread mate?
Since it's here though, it does kind of demonstrate the point.
What point ? the fact he is insulting Maureen ?!?!
Look the abuse stu used to dish out and then there is ace , peewee etc who also dish out the abuse .

The only problem I have with you is that you don't post that much as of late. If I have to slap some pros heads in order you post more, I will.
Ace Ventura wrote:Maybe that is because at this moment in time i am really not sure exactly what my view is.
After the Real Madrid game i was obviously delighted and know that in that area Rafa is the man, and his record shouldnt be dismissed in an...well its only europe, we know he's good at that, kind of way.
The sides that we have beaten, and the stadiums we have won in show the manager at his brilliant best.
But then you do worry based on recent seasons if he can get it right, with regards to our own league and breaking down stubborn opposition.
The jury is well and truly still out on that one.

Well said, mate. Sums up my views as well. I have complete faith that Rafa can lead us to glory in Europe on a fairly consistent basis. Whether he can do the same in the league, however, is a huge question mark at the moment for me.

s@int wrote:I don't think you should call the ones that can't make their minds up just yet cowards mate....... it just depends how much emphasis the individual places on europe. If like me you see the League as being the main priority its a little easier making the decision. If you think that the CL is more important or that it can in some way make up for our failings in the league then your decision is obviously a little harder.
I have spent the best part of 18 months wrestling with the problem, and I am still not 100% sure I have finally made the right decision and Rafa should go. Whatever side of the line people fall its probably more to do with individual belief than any argument ANYONE on here can make. You can post stats by the hundredweight, facts by the score and articles by knowledgeable experts, players and managers, and at the end of the day it will all boil down to what someone feels in their heart.
I was a "don't really know" as recently as a few short weeks ago, I have had no earth shattering revelation that has suddenly made everything clear to me, just a slow slide into gradual acceptance that maybe we can do better.

If we lose to madrid tho will you still think he can lead us in europe or if we go out round after you still be happy ?
Its all if's and butt's end of day wish some of you on fence would get ya's up and make up ya mind.
word coward springs to mind.
Tbh I have more respect for the pro's then the fence sitters at least they putting there necks out and saying what they believe even tho its delouded of course.

This is the bit that really concerns me mate. I think this season we had our best chance in donkeys years to win the title this year, and we blew it.
The last time I really thought we had as good a chance as this was 1996 when we actually had a better team than the mancs, but unfortunately a manager who wasn't quite good/strong enough. We blew our chance then and the mancs strengthened and although we have come closer(points and positionally) on quite a few occasions since never really made a challenge we could all believe was as genuine.
This season due to a combination of good fortune (own goals /sendings off) great comebacks, grinding out results and our rivals stuttering and in some cases blowing up, we had the opportunity of a lifetime. We failed to take advantage of it unfortunately, maybe with a different manager we would have?
The mancs will strengthen AGAIN, Chelsea will probably recover their form under a new manager and maybe even Arsenal will splash the cash? While the pretenders Villa and Citeh will no doubt be pushing for top four next season. Things are only going to get tougher imo. If Rafa couldn't do it this season with EVERYTHING seemingly going his way early on, maybe like Evans he never will?

I see, it's cowardly to say that Benitez is brilliant in Europe but considerably short of that in the league. How craven of me.
You, on the other hand, are one of the bravest lads on here. You post complete and utter nonsense 98% of the time and get rumbled for it on a regular basis. Yet, you still manage to find the self-belief/self-delusion required to come back time and again and condescend to people who actually put a moment's thought into their views. Yes, it takes a brave man indeed to ridicule others, given the bollox you consistently chat.
