It's a natural bias to ignore the abuse of those who you agree, but if you asked the ones that have to deal with petty fights, they'd probably tell you that there are insults going on both sides, and that in each side there are different kind of posters.

My personal opinion is that the insults are more often than not started by people defending the manager than people who are making negative comments.
There are obviously the odd times when someone who is defending Rafa gets told they are clueless or have there head in the sand, wear red tinted specs etc, but they are imo far less and also nowhere near as verocious.

I am at this moment in time wanting Rafa to succeed like mick and some of the doubters, but also not at all convinced that he will.
I understand both sides, his european record is unbelievablely good and he has improved our points total so far in the league this season.
But i think we have massivley underperformed this season and i think Rafa has also, the Keane fiasco as well, that left me totally bewildered.

To just go back to the topic starter, its a good positive thread, not one that i agree with either but there's nothing wrong with seeing the positives in the season and our manager.
Some of us just fail to strike any kind of a balance when thinking of the positives and the negatives, and my honest opinion is the people who make the negative comments more often than not do have more balanced views.

I could be wrong but thats the way it comes accross to me.

I'm not so sure about that Sabre. I'd ask them if I was you. Look, I've always preached self moderation, and to a verying degree of success (possibly not so successful recently) I've just about managed to keep a lid on my emotions. Others try and some do well with it, but there is absolutely no doubt whatsoever in my mind that you have considerably more chance of being called a c..., told to feck off and support somebody else, told you are a disgrace etc if you are an anti.

The evidence is so absolutely overwhelming, that I cannot possibly beleive anybody can dispute it and keep a straight face. The two most abusive posters on here both dish it out only to anti's, while even the milder version of the same are not averse to getting a bit Billy big B0ll0cks on occasions.

As I say, the evidence is so glaringly, in your face obvious, it's pointless even arguing about it. If you don't agree, then it's cool, we agree to disagree. Just out of interest though, who are the abusive people on the anti side of the fence?

Jose Mourinho. Once known as Satan and a sleezy, dirty little arrogant man amongst the faithful brethren of LFC's all knowing, supremely devoted fans. Nowadays, Mr Mourinho is the subject matter of masturbation amonst some. He is the second coming. Our messiah. The one to end all our strife. We bow own to your greatness, Mr Mourinho. Come to us and save us from our ficklness. Save us from the nasty Alex Ferguson. We'll kiss your feet and suck you off. Please come. Pretty please with plenty of sugar on top.

Fuck off!

Have you got the right thread mate?

Since it's here though, it does kind of demonstrate the point.

I consider natural Ace believing the abuse is more frequent and started by the pros. I consider natural you not seeing abuse from the antis at all. In fact, each of us would have a different view on that. For that matter I think that the abuse from one side or another is more or less depending on the month we are and how is the team, and how was the last result. It's true that we had Rafa can't be criticised times, and it's true we've had Rafa can't be defended times, from my view.

Anyhow I consider pointless to label a group of different posters as "abusers" or "balanced". Surely the attitudes have to be judged individually? Just because an anti calls me a fat head and commands me to support Real Madrid, or just because some other tells me to hide my head in the sand, I don't have to blame you or any other anti of that behaviour. What's the point?

I won't give names, nor bring quotes even if I can Mick. What's the point? We agree to disagree and that's all, we have better things to discuss.

P.S. Last time I asked one mod about that, a long while ago, they told me that both sides were as bad. Perhaps he's changed his opinion, or perhaps he's a clever guy that just tell us what we want to hear so that we buggers shut up Mick :D (I couldn't blame him)

What point is that? Doesn't matter where I posted that. It's on this forum and that's what matters. The maturbatory attention that another manager of another team is getting on here is simply sickening. Last time I checked, a man called Rafael Benitez was boss of Liverpool FC. Not Jose Mourinho. Now, unless the day ever comes if Mr Mourinho does by some chance come and take over as manager of Liverpool, I'll be supportive of his plans. Until then, Rafa is boss. End of.

Maybe i shouldnt have said all the pro's are not balanced Sabre, what i meant is in general (to me) i can see more balanced views from the anti's.

I know you do try and but some balance to your posts, i know you are pro Rafa and i have read posts where you have been critical of him so fair enough.
There are some that cannot have a bad word said about him though and really flip out and go OTT when someone tries to offer any kind of criticism, they are the people that do most of the name calling and start the abuse imho.

No problemo Ace Ventura, you're ace.

The only problem I have with you is that you don't post that much as of late. If I have to slap some pros heads in order you post more, I will. :D

BTW, as it stands I'm on the fence as far as Rafa is concerned. If he f*cks up, I'll say it, and have said it on here. Loads of knee-jerkers on this forum. I may be using that as a broad term, but it's a simple observation. Just go into any of the match threads and the evidence is there.
