Ok, I'm 32, when I was in my youth, indie music ruled, and here are the songs that you all loved if into the music:

(I'm leaving out the obvious blur, charlatons oasis, stone roses, going for the one hitters mainly)

The Mock turtles - Can U Dig it

Northside - Take 5

Milltown Brothers - Which way should I jump

Ride - Taste

Frank and Walters - Fashion Crisis

Sultans of Ping FC - Where's me Jumper

sultans of ping :D  i remember going to a concer of theirs in my home town, which has a bad rep. the dublin band slagged off my home town, in their concert in my home town, so the unaminous decision was to show that our city is not violent by throwning glass bottles at them.

ah, the good old days

ps wasn't mrs robinson the best song from the frank and walters?

Mrs Robinson was the Lemonheads, but yes, a gerat song.

They are just the indie songs i remmeber seeing. I was 17 and going to Camden Underworld every tuesday where i saw such great bands as: Cud, Mudhoney, Blagegrs ITA, Primus, and the more mainstream ones.
Funny listening to Ride now when you see the guitarist is now the guy playing with Oasis

surely ''you're unbelievable'' should be there in that case. I don't think''jump'' by house of pain or '' insane in the membrane'' by cyprus hill count as indie but great songs by bands that never became really mainstrem must include those

Supergrass definately, but I was just going older, the shoe-gazing - madchester scene of the early 90s lol

supergrass were definately the newwave of indie, more birtpop tho if you wanna box things in
