i just saw some failed banker called Sir something or other will get 690k a year in a pension. there is talk of legislation passed to ensure he doesn't get it. while that amount of money makes no difference to the  country as a whole should the retrospecive legislation be passed?

I think it should due to the public need to see these guys suffer. revenge is a natural human emotion and part of justice. it doesn't matter what country you are from as we all have similar types running our banks.

can you strip a man of a knighthood, i imagine it would affect the ego of the type of man that accepts that type of thing.

I really want to see some of these guys go to jail but I don't believe it will happen as they are smart enough to know the law and politicans seem to feel intimidated by bankers.

Agree with you on that, but the bank workers getting bonuses is right in some parts.

A lot of bankers in public high street banks are on like 15k a year, and they get bonuses when they open a set number of accounts and stuff like that.

Its the ones on 100ks a year that are raking it in whilst the ones that help us every day folk are on a pittance
