Ive read the whole thread and have not once seen anyone say they had influence on parry leaving  ??? The one that forced him out was Hicks with probably some influence of Rafa not a member of Newkit.

A lot of people were saying great that's Parry out of the way, now it's the two yanks etc etc forgetting that it was one of the yanks who got rid of Parry to strengthen his grip on the club. A lot of you guys just don't seem to know how the world works but instead of trying to learn you attack anybody who tries to enlighten you or offer a different point of view, that is what is called ignorance and it's the most dangerous thing in the world.

Heimdall for what it's worth mate I think you are getting a hard rap on here at the moment. You aren't on your own, just chill and it'll pass.

We shall see but I bet parrys son will be out of his job at the academy at the end of the season.

If he's not already had his cards Lynds. To be honest mate, I don't really care who has "won" in the power struggle, who has "got their own way" and all that stuff. If in order to make it physically possible for players to progress from the academy to the first team squad Parry's son has to go as well, then he has to go.

The club must come first surely? It seems that recently many parties within the inner sanctum are concerned with a whole raft of things ahead of the one thing which should concern them most.

I don't agree with this brinkmanship, this game of chicken and the public negotiation of contracts, the ultimatums about who works with who and the like, but now we've got our night of the long knives which everyone has been craving, lets just get it done and move on.

It's probably a good move for everybody really. Once Rafa has absolutely total control over the transfers, absolutely total control over the youth system and presumeably total control over everything to do with the first team, then at least he can get on with winning lots of football matches. There shouldn't be any excuses any more should there?

Who me??? Am I not allowed to defend myself, when  so many w@nkers on here call me silly names, even geriatric old biddys who find it oh so funny to continually take the p1ss and continue to spell my name wrong all the f'ing time. I've had it up to here, I really have, I have always been respectful to people on this forum and what do I get in return, vicious attacks, childish insults and people telling me to go and kill myself. I can tell you one thing that over time it gets very depressing and annoying but I will continue to say my opinion and not change my opinion from game to game like certain stained people.
There are a lot of good people on this forum, including ones I don't agree with but there are a hell of a lot of nasty cruel people on here as well and it's getting very unpleasant these days. I just want a place where I can discuss the team that I love but it's getting harder and harder by the day, and just when I'd want the mods to maybe help me out they all fecking turn on me as well with even more childish taunts.

Not you alone mate. The whole feckin thread just descends into long winded personal insults, constant snide remarks.

We are all adults, why the feck people need to fight between themselves just to score points is quite frankly mental.

Does Rafa or Parry or anybody else at the football club
give a sh!t that grown up's sit on a forum squwabbling
like feckin school kids...... I thought not.

Raffa said that if he is the one that is going to be held accountable for the team winning and losing then he should be allowed to make his own decisions according to the budget set. I think that that is fair enough and he has been complaining about Parry for a while. Raffa now deserves two years to run the club as he sees fit and then he can be judged. My guess is we will get someone world class in the summer (I am sure Raffa will work overtime to prove the point) and in two years we will be a great team.

Since this has been one of the problems in the past, Toffee, it's only fair to expect what you are requesting.

I agree.

It's been a problem according to Rafa, funny how you guys believe all rumours that support Rafa but attack anybody who believes rumours against Rafa. It's called double standards Sabre and you are one of the finest exponents of it, no actually I take that back you are no where near as good as GYBS.

How long have you been supporting Liverpool? About 3 years? Of course you'd say longer, but any long-term supporting fan that's seen Parry's employment to the club back 12 years ago will tell you that he's been nothing but a f*ck up. He almost let Owen slip through the net, and the joke that was almost letting Gerrard go to Chelsea. That was in Rafa's first season here, and I'm sure he took note of that. Imagine if we'd lost our best player because of that clown. It almost happened. It's got nothing to do with Rafa saying it, which by the way, most things the man comes out and says is just pure honesty, which according to some he is at fault for?

I might have more sympathy, mate, if you weren't giving as good as you get.  You don't call people names or tell them where to go often, I'll grant you, but here you're spouting off about how everyone who's glad to see the back of Parry is 'arrogant', 'ignorant', blighted by 'double standards' or out of touch with 'how the world works' and that tends to strike a nerve.
