If this should be in the parry thread mods then feel free to merge it - i dont mind  :p

Do we really need a replacement for Parry ?

Was he not just a stumbling block in getting players (supposedly) ?

We already have a guy at the club looking after the money side - Ayres is it

People already looking for investement etc

So what need do we have to get a replacement for parry ?

Or do we need a footballing figure head to help the manager ?

mmmmm yes I can see your point there, it was well though out and well written.

Question:  Does anyone think Parry going will change our style of football?

There are opinions and there are people who blatently have an agenda of winding up other forum members for the sake of it, to get high 5s from their buddies.

no one is laughing its not funny its very childish that grown men act like this actually.

Well I know very little about Rick Parry to be honest. I know he was supposedly the one who signed Robbie Keane, but presumeably therefore he was the one who signed Fernando Torres so he can't be all bad. I've actually never known a chief executive of any club be given so much publicity without actually saying anything in the press himself. He's had quite a difficult role to fulfill at times, in that when we've had a bad run or signed sh!t players it's been his fault, but when we've played well or signed good ones it's been feck all to do with him.

Clearly though he didn't get on with the manager, and if we are going to keep the manager it makes sense to try and find somebody who can get on with him. In that sense, it's all probably for the best. As I say though, i know very little about Parry or what he actually did, I'm sure some of it was good for the club so I wish him all the best.

this is nothing but good for the club! it has been a long time in coming and now that it is out of the way it's time for rafa to sign on the dotted line

to many mistakes have been made over the last few years that have cost us the chance of getting good players into are club

whoever they get to replace him i hope he can see things in the liverpool way and help take are club forward, at the end of the day that is what EVERYONE on here wishes for! are club moving forward and winning!!

This should definately be merged, and I'm actually being serious. As for the question do we need a replacement? I think that just about sums up the fact that although many of us have quite strong opinions on Rick Parry, very few fans know what he actually did. My guess FWIW is that any company which has a turnover in the multiple millions which Liverpool football club does, needs a CEO. I might be wrong though, and I must confess I don't really give that much of a feck either way.
