totally forogt about Smicer.

I am a fan of Bellamy, being from Wales myslef i goto all the home welsh national matches at the millenium and he always plays well.

He scored an awesome goal against Italy last year too.

He would be a good signing, but i think very unlikely.

What about Ameobi then ???     :D

I've lost the sence of recognizing what is a joke or what isn't today after the game.

With all due respect i think Bellamy is a fantastic player but we are looking for a replacement for Michael Owen. Bellamy does not even come into that category for me im afraid. Apart from the fact he is a problem player too. All the c**p he was spouting about if Rooney comes to the club he would have to look at his posistion at the club?? Saying that in front of the camera's? What a joke!

Yes good point, he is very mouthy and had a lot of trouble here in Cardiff in a couple of nightclub incidents.

Madred, in your opinion, who would be ideal then?

My hopes have been dashed in the past few weeks when it was announced the Eto was signing for Barca and Morientes was doing the same at Real. This is the kind of quality we should be going for to replace Michael's goals. The Mista situation is one im hoping will bring some good news but im not banking on that one somehow after all the s**t going on between Rafa and his former employers.

Liverpool are reported to be ready to add their Spanish contingent by signing Mallorca defender David Cortes.

The Reds are thought to have been in talks with the talented full back for the last week with reports suggesting a deal could be tied up on Monday ahead of the close of the transfer window.

The right-sided full back has been linked with a move to Atletico Madrid, but it appears he could be on his way to Anfield.

A Liverpool director was thought to be in attendance at Mallorca's game with Real Madrid to watch the player in action and to finalise the deal.

Liverpool are thought to have agreed a deal in the region of €3 million for Cortes with the player being offered a four-year deal.

Reds boss Rafa Benitez has been keen to bolster his defence and Cortes' possible arrival will raise further question marks over the future of Steve Finnan with Everton believed to be tracking the Republic of Ireland international.

Should Cortes arrive at Anfield he will become Liverpool's fifth Spaniard signing since Benitez took charge in the summer.

This isnt a big name player ive never heard of him unless we are getting 2 players him an mista please god please.
And owen assists goal to ronaldo on debut for Real what a f#ckin day cheers michael :glare:

Two weeks is a long way from now, I looked forward to todays game but it was a disapointment in the end. I just want to see LFC reedem themselves by beating Bromich this week but instead the game is in two weeks.
