How easy do you think it is to win the league sir roger ? do you think it is possible to go straight from 4th to winning the next season ?

So basically the criteria for rafa staying havs shot up throughtout the season . Most people i expect wanted us to improve and not be out of it by xmas and to challenge the acs maybe end up second being a lot closer than double figure points - now he has to win it or go .

Dear Heimdall,

Thank you for sharing your opinions with the World. You bring untold joy to the boards of Newkit, and I am sure I am not alone in thinking that you are the sole reason for the survival and resurrection of this fine forum.

I love you and want to have your babies.

Obviously it's difficult to go from fourth to first in one season. When Rafa came in five seasons ago, we were fourth the season before he came in and it is a tall order to make that gap up in one go. I'd go as far as saying it's impossible.

That we were fourth again last season, four years later seems to be lost on some people, but we were and it's difficult to go from there to first. Just about the only way to do it is to spend a lot of money in the Summer, and buy players which drastically improve the first team.

We got the first bit right anyway.

it seemed easy enough to go from 3rd to 4th last season, not exactly a step in the right direction.

is it possible to go from 4th to winning it? what was chelseas position prior to winning it, what was blackburns position.

cue some bollox about buying it etc etc etc ad nauseum

Some people havent been put on the list simply because despite being asked to just choose from 3 options they have giving answer like if he wins this he can stay or if he shaves his beard he can go.

Just answer how you feel AT THE MOMENT

Ive seen 2 sets of figures on Rafa's net spending - £91M and £104M.

I'd guess in between those 2 is probably correct.

It is hard to go from fourth to first though Pee in one season, that's why we had a mountain to climb this season. I've always been quite keen on my basecamp theory, in that you have to get in amongst the rarified atmos' and then press on from there ideally.

As I said earlier though, this isn't rafa's first season it's his fifth. The season before he took over we were fourth, since then four seasons have passed by. In the last of them, we were still fourth.
