Also watched the first season of Mad Med recently, brilliant show. Lot of drinking and smoking and sexual harrassment on the job :D   Although there was a moment at the end of the season finale that I felt jumped the shark a bit. :(

Are you watching British Life on Mars or the Sh!te american version? Massive difference mate lol

they didn't even change the characters name  :D   Although, if the original Sam Tyler was from Manchester, I don't think the US one should be from New York, instead somewhere sh.itty like Detroit.

Ahh, right, another 'crossover hit.'  So, I take it the British version's better (although you would say that wouldn't you)? :D

Slumdog Millionaire is a really really good movie. i just dont understand one bit

- why does the little kid use a westernized term ''man'' when he talks? like ''come on man''. isnt it in the slums of India? otherwise its a really good movie. 8.5/10

Running through my head on a repeating loop, Maypax! :D

No, unfortunately, it was a scene from a network television show, so no chance of actually seeing Christina Hendricks in the all together.  The mind does fill in the blanks though!

The show was Firefly, mate.  Think cowboys in space (but it's so much more than that!).  For my money, Joss Whedon's best effort but the genuises at Fox gave it less than a season. :no  No shortage of totty either:

Morena Baccarin
Summer Glau
Jewel Staite
Gina Torres
Christina Hendricks

Tasty!  :hearts

(Check out Judge's chickapedia link for photos and vital statisticis for the ladies listed above :D )

Echo (Eliza Dushku) is a young woman who is literally everybody's fantasy. She is one of a group of men and women who can be imprinted with personality packages, including memories, skills, language—even muscle memory—for different assignments. The assignments can be romantic, adventurous, outlandish, uplifting, sexual and/or very illegal. When not imprinted with a personality package, Echo and the others are basically mind-wiped, living like children in a futuristic dorm/lab dubbed the Dollhouse, with no memory of their assignments—or of much else. The show revolves around the childlike Echo's burgeoning self-awareness, and her desire to know who she was before, a desire that begins to seep into her various imprinted personalities and puts her in danger both in the field and in the closely monitored confines of the Dollhouse.

Cheers Saint, will deffo give it a go, sounds like a good one .  :)

As for those talkin' about "Fringe"

Better than average but i'm not completely hooked , although Missus Woof insists I dl every episode. As some one said, the off the wall recently released from the looney bin professor character certainly adds to the interest.

Life on Mars

Surprised that the yanks have churned out another "copy" so quickly. Not sure how in America it would translate . UK policing has certainly changed in the last three decades, not sure if the same could said about the US, has policing there changed that much ? . In the original UK series the "attitudes" to policing was one of the main issues affecting the lead characters interaction with his colleagues.Either way I like Harvey Kietel so will deffo have look, if only for comparisons sake.

For those that haven't seen the ORIGNAL uk series there was also a follow up series called "Ashes to Ashes" ( have you noticed the David Bowie link yet ? )
