It's gonna be a football mad weekend all round. On Saturday I'm off to watch Boro vs Wigan. Must be a glutton for punishment. :D

I see it more as a scouting mission for next weekend. :p

Can't wait for this game...

Our next two League games are Man City at Home and Middlesboro Away.
Manure's next two League games are Blackburn at Home and Newcastle Away.

These two games are must wins for us because after this it's the vital game at old trafford.

Come on red men! :D

I didn't actually hear it but there is a lot being said about them playing a weakened team against United last night Nanny so its probably something to do with that ???

They did play a weakened team, and they very much went through the motions. Unfortunately, we've done absolutely the same thing in recent years in matches against relegation contenders and not exactly made ourselves any friends into the process. My suspicion is that any complaints we were to make (and we wouldn't anyway to be fair) would be laughed out of court fairly sharpish.

Things like that are frustrating but thats just the way it goes, lets be honest even with a full strength side who thinks Fulham might of got a point there ?

Not me, and not Roy hodgson unfortunately, he prioritised saturdays game and so did the players by the looks of things, we have done it in the past which benefitted Fulham ironically when we played a really weakened side against them at the end of the season at Craven cottage and they won they game and ended up staying up, think that was one of Warnocks complaints.

Its modern day football unfortunately, but at the end of the day i doubt united would of had too much trouble against them anyway while they are languishing in mid table.

Exactly ace i doubt it either. Mannure would have brushed aside any fulham select. Anyways even though there will be no complaints just would like to say why should fans or anyone associated with liverpool complain for? Fulham have a right to do what is best for thier club.

Also if we hadnt fecked up soo many games against dire sides we wouldnt have been in desperation of praying for mannure to drop points as early as fecking feb

Exactly, that was our argument last season when we were playing relegation candidates with a weakened side and some of the others were kicking off, it was upto us to get our own results, we cant rely on other teams to do us favours.

On a seperate note, just to say, i watched some of the city game last night, looked like a really tough battle on a heavy looking pitch, bad weather conditions as well.
They may be drained for Sunday as they played the full side as far as i am aware.

On the one hand they've played away midweek, we're rested. On the other hand we didn't play midweek games much if at all in January and that didn't do us any favours. They don't travel well, but we can gift sides soft goals or struggle to score ourselves and drop points through draws.

Biggest hope is that the mancs slip up at the weekend, but I doubt there will be much more hope of that than there was midweek.

I heard some of it.

Some Fulham fan phoned up and obviously brought up the game in 06/07 when we went to Fulham with our reserves and Fulham beat us to virtually stay up. He started saying should Birminham, Sheffield United sue us blah blah blah.

No you complete muppet there's a difference. Was our manager coming out before that game and saying "oh we'll need a miracle to get anything from this game"? No. Also, did we virtually give up after going a goal down? No. That's the difference. Fulham went there and were resigned to defeat before a ball was kicked.

I´ve just read Owzat´s post on whether league is harder than CL etc...

I read the above comment and found myself thinking 'No, save Gerrard for the Madrid game when he´ll be properly fit'.

Of course the league is a must, but in terms of Gerrard, I guess I subconsciously put CL first.

Yeah i heard this aswel.
My brothers mate was having a go at his mate who supports Fulham..."You perform against us....You get a point against Chelsea and you beat arsenal......and then you go to united seemingly wanting to lose!" lool was a very good 10 min arguement  :D

Also i heard that Chris Kamara in nuts magazine (not that i get it  :p ) predicted City to beat us 2-0 on our own turf this weekend! Is there any truth behind that? because if there is im on the way to his house now armed with a wet fish!
