This is going to sound pretty strange coming from me, but why is everyone so quiet around here at the moment? Surely it's not because the Mancs managed to beat Fulham who incidently only played half a fecking team this morning as they've got a "Big" match against West Brom at the weekend.
None of us expected them to get anything, so although the Mancs have stretched the lead out to five points and my well stretch it out to eight against Blackburn before we play again, it doesn't change a thing.

Basically, we need to win lots and lots of matches on the bounce, including winning at Old Trafford. If we can do that (and admittedly it's quite a big IF), then we'll see what a good side they are when they're bang under pressure and in the heat of battle. At the moment they are cruising, the football world has got their trousers round their ankles w@nking on about what a good side they are, and teams are beat before they even turn up.

We know what we've got to do though. We've got to stay close enough so we that if we can pr!ck their bubble at Old Trafford, it'll make the old doubts creep in. We maybe behind on points but we've got a punchers chance. Just need to get in close enough though so if we can actually clock em on the chin, it makes em come down.

Whatever though, no need for everyone to stop posting because they beat Fulham reserves.

Good Pee, glad someone is. I don't think I've ever seen it quieter round here. Almost like a collective gloom has descended since the Mancs managed to overcome the mighty Fulham.

don't worry mick, it was a crafty plan to lure the mancs into a false sense of security before they play them again at craven cottage in march

How can that be that they have to play em again? They should have had to play half the teams in the first 19 games, then the other half afterwards surely? Now that Fulham are 10th or something there canot be a better time to play em, not going down and obviously not getting into Europe either.

it's the game in hand mick. also the mancs game against portsmouth next week is off, I can only assume thats for the league cup final so they will go back to having a game in hand on us.

I'm here Mick, theres not much Liverpool being talked about at the moment, find myself talking more in the general chat lately, takes my mind of the season for a bit. Theres a few doom and gloomers (sometimes I can be one myself) but I come on here for reassurance that theres light at he end of the tunnel and half the time the optimism just isnt to be seen unfortunately :(

Maybe its just the last games liverpool players played were pointless friendlies and weve had nearly 2 weeks off...

If I was a Fulham fan having tavelled to that game last night I'd be f#cking embarassed. It was like a training game.

This is the same Fulham who came to Anfield and defended as if their lives depended on it. Last night it looked as if they were beaten before they even got on the pitch.
