Shearer has just taken four rooms on the executive floor at the Hilton in St Helens for two nights. Is he there to watch the Whippet Racing and Leigh Pie eating championships or is he going to the Reebok

really glad to have Shearer on board provided he's on the cheap. But dont think it'll happen. Anyway looks like we need a good striker and a quality centre back to complete the squad. Why Saviola is not linked to us at all?

If he was on the cheap , his experience would be a great asset in a long campaign but if he is going to cost then we should be looking for a younger model

I wonder if Rafa plans on signing anybody else by Tuesday, maybe he has somebody in mind just keeping it a secret?
