Reventa? I've seen some offers on the web at 375€. That's crazy men! Plus the flight and the hotel ... Too much for me by now. But I have to go to Anfield anyway. Any other option but the official LFC site?

The most talented CM in the reserves is Francisco Durán who was playing for Malaga's first team at age 16, but he has had a horrible injury record and I think he is out again at this moment.

Seems like Gerrard will be out for three weeks

Seems like we could be picking from:

Defensive mid: Carra, San Jose, Plessis, Spearing

box to box: Spearing

attack:  Bennayoun, Pacheco, Adam Pepper, Lauri Dalle Valle

Oh christ we've lost this one already  :D

Going to be a tough match and yet another that i want out of the way with 3 points. Cant wait for gerrard to come back really need him. Think we shouldnt rush him for the real match and wait until boro...
Got a feeling will win this one 3-1... going down 1-0 in first 10 mins... Torres to give citeh defence a torrid time!!!

i love your gerrard, torres, carragher and babel version of zoolander.
btt, i don't think the margin will be that great, i have a feeling that Bellamy will score if he is does play.

Funny how having a moan in these situations never involves owning up to wrong-doing and always involves having a dig at the Mods.  Surely no one's ever done anything wrong around here...it's all just mod bias don't you know?  It's getting old, mate.  :glare:

Why is it old ?

Probably because there is a hint of truth in it.  :nod

Well the record for Liverpool in the 26th game of the Premiership is P16 W8 D8 L0, it's at home against citeh and our home record in the Premiership against them is P11 W9 D1 L1, so everything points to a home win. That loss at home to citeh was 03/05/03, second last game of the season and finished 1-2. Baros opened the scoring for us, Le Sulk scored their equaliser and late winner. Their side didn't look much, included Sommeil, Benarbia, Horlock and Niclas Jensen in there but had God and Le Sulk up front.

That was the season Houllier blew it bigtime and was lucky to survive another season.

Charity Shield - lost 0-1 to Arsenal
Champions League - went out to Basel
UEFA Cup - went out to Celtic
League Cup - Winners despite just inching past Sheff Utd in the semis
FA Cup - went out to Palace in a replay (at Anfield)

Premiership - finished 5th, despite an excellent start

Start : P12 W9 D3 L0 F24 A9 PTS 30
Middle : P13 W1 D6 L6 F10 A16 PTS 9
End : P13 W8 D1 L4 F27 A16 PTS 25

Just four points less in the first 12 games as managed in the last 26! Having reached 30 points from 12 games, we finally crawled to 32 points at the halfway stage/after 19 games, picking up just two points from seven games. We went 11 games without a win and somehow, despite buggering up an excellent start, going out in embarrassing fashion in virtually every cup competition we were in, some clever d1ck decided to give Houllier one more chance! Puts Stu's recently revived little rant at his demise into perspective, he was lucky he got that extra season. He picked up just 60 league points in that extra season he got, albeit that was good enough to finish fourth. He got nowhere in the league or FA cups, nowhere in the UEFA Cup and overall did diddly with that extra life.

If we don't win this game it will be a HUGE blow to our challenge.  We have to get our home form up you can't win a title constantly drawing at home, it's been frustrating watching us at Anfield the majority of the season so hopefully this doesn't turn out to be one of those games.

Lets hope Hughes isnt given the boot before we play them

The last thing we need is to face a team with a new manager

Look how Portsmouth done today

They are absolutely garbage away from home. If our attitude is right I can see us absolutely stuffing them.

True, Man C players would be motivated for their new manager
