Being born in the city i had the choice of supporting two of the biggest clubs around but i settled for Anfield because Prenton Park was too far away!! :D  Seriously my earliest memory was a great one of Alan Kennedy scoring the winner in the 81 european cup final and thats when the love affair started.

About five years ago (when I first started taking an interest in football) I found out about all the success Liverpool had had (and all my friends were manc or arsenal supporters and I wanted to be different) so I went with them.

thank you cisse

believe it or not i actually fell in love with the team in the middle of that garbage spell in the 02-03 season...before that i didn't give a damn about football.  i bought the lfc.tv e-ticket and a few weeks later they won the league cup and started playing well, and there was no looking back for me.

My Grandad took me to my first Liverpool match on the back of his Honda 50 in 1974.We beat Leeds 1-0 and Steve Heighway scored. It felt like there was a million people there......... i was hooked.

Most fans start supporting their "team" almost as soon as they learn to walk .....Well so I thought but it appears that many only take it up later in life.

For me i would have been about 6 I think and started to take an interest in football. Liverpool were the only team i was ever going to support but i can't quite work out how liverpool came to be my team seeing as it was so long ago   :p

I was probably about 7 when i started playing football, and a year or so later I started getting into the Premier league, and one of my mates was a big Liverpool fan, and he hated ManU so I followed his trend. I also liked McManaman a lot.

I grew up watching German,Italian and Spanish football. When I saw Michael Owen play for England, I then automaticaly started watching Liverpool and became a fan.
