I am giving up buying newspapers. i never bought tabloids anyway, but the broadsheets just depress me now. Economy is going so bad you should just shoot yourself in the head and get it over with!! (only a slight exageration of the headlines).

If things are that bad, why should we be wasting our money on your paper??

Yep. It's grim as f*ck. I'm currently working a job for buttons that should pay at least close to a grand a week with graphics designing and building a website. I'm close to jacking it in and going on my own. I'd be far better off.

I don't get it. We get paid the same but things are cheaper?

If you don't own things and don't have a car or family its a great climate to be in!!!

I rent privately (rent not gone up in 3 years) and shops are all on sale... der der der der der im loving it

(This is actually a serious point, in my situation things are fecknig cool like this

Yeah, but what if you're made redundant? Once you take your coat off to the man, you're somebody elses b*tch, so I wouldn't be counting my chickens.

I'm good at my job too. Very. Thing is, there's no jobs here for what I'm good at, though there may be plenty where you are and I've checked. Still, just because you're good at a job doesn't mean you can't get the jing. My mate was good at his job too. He got laid off after 7 years working as the supervisor. Now he's up sh*t creek without a paddle and the Revenue along with a dozen other companies are hounding him, plus he has a mortgage to pay and could well be homeless very soon.

Id love to see a bank fall on its head. The maybe the goverment will stop throwing money at this problem and start from scrath like it should have done.
