REAL MADRID VS LIVERPOOL - Champions league 1st k/o round

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

TBH im worried about the tough fixture congestion surrounding these to games..

22 Feb, 2009 Manchester City  H
25 Feb, 2009 Real Madrid        A
28 Feb, 2009 Middlesbrough     A
03 Mar, 2009 Sunderland       H
10 Mar, 2009 Real Madrid      H
14 Mar, 2009 Manchester United  A
22 Mar, 2009 Aston Villa            H

Big games....  I hope we put a few past real on the first leg
life gets a little easier at anfield on the 2nd leg so we could rest a few players...
A little worried about mannure and the villa match but we have shown already that against the big sides we play fairly good....
Glad we have got torres back in goal scoring form otherwise we would be doomed....

If we keep consistent form and win all the prem matches or atleast take a point off mannure i would say we have got on hell of a chance to win the premiership.... 13 points atleast from those prem games a must...

Real are winning but not playing very well.  Robben looks back to his very best though.

The way Ramos has them playing I cant see him being their to long as that isnt the Real Madrid way.

Yeah your right. It's not like that can win the league now so they will surley be only concentrating on us.

We have beaten plenty of good teams away from home and I am sure we can do it again. I just hope Stevie is fit enough when the time comes.

Still though it's a massive game and i'm starting to get nervous.

Not really a break. Most of the big players are going to be involved for their countries.

Still got the cup weekend off tho......
Stu Averill, a wannabe Scouse/Scot. I remember the good times & have faith in them comin back

Beside the Hillsborough Flame, I heard a Koppite mournin, "Why so many taken on that day?" Justice has never been done. But their memory we'll carry on. There'll be Glory Round The Fields Of Anfield Road

After five years at the helm, I dont think Rafa has the squad quality, capable enough of challenging for the Prem and CL.

on paper, i look at the quality of Real and if all their players play to their potential...they will beat us 2-0 or 3-1.

i know  :D  Real, either they kick our butts silly OR they will fall apart due to the prima donnas and the egos in their team. its like a clear line...either you're with Raul, Guti and Salgado or you're not.

Well we had a win with Hunteelar not eligible. I think it will be close, if Gerrard is back in time I think we are a very good chance of winning. We are a very tough team to beat.
