That is possibly the stupidest comment I have ever heard mate.
For one, if more people were stoned there would be less wife bashing i think. Alcohol is the main reason for spousal abuse in the world.
that was meant tongue in cheek dawson
niall said that drunks bash wives. alcohol is legal
therefore, is it correct to say if drugs were also legalised, would that lead to more wife bashing as more folk may do it (take drugs that is) if they thought they'd never be imprisoned for taking the drugs in the first place!!
there are people who dont take drugs purely because they value their freedom from prison. if that was not an issue for them - then perhaps??
no one knows what effects drugs have some people and others etc

Phelps Ban
I find it interesting that he was banned for presumably smoking pot. Now, I know and you know that it was 99% likely to be pot but a 3-month ban based on a presumption made from a photograph seems more than a little flimsy to me. Laza's right, the outpouring of misplaced moral outrage on this issue is approaching Superbowl Tittygate proportions. A lad in his 20s isn't allowed to let loose a little just because he's won a bunch of gold medals? Seems pretty harsh to me.
