quaresma to chelski is big news.. any idea why werent even in the picture given how badly we need a new right winger ?

and good for keane going back to spurs i guess... hope other players we try to sign don't take into consideration benitez's treatment of keane when deciding whether to join or not..

im sick of our team being made to look a bunch of clowns by Parry and Rafa.

As an spanish proverb says: "Rectify is of wise people".

would have paid Tottenham the same money in the summer for Keane? No, they need him now desperately.

Would have improved and increased his value from January to June? No.

Now is the perfect moment to do this deal.

this is bullsh*t, Rafa harps on about the need for strength and depth in a squad, and now he honestly thinks Torres (who has been injured most of the season) can play every game from now until the end of the season?  f**k me, if the lad gets injured we'll be watching Kuyt and Ngog faff about up front.

im REALLY disapointed in this whole mess.

The contribution of keane up front was better than Kuyt´s???

No.

it was as a matter of fact.

majority of kuyts goals came from when he played on the right hand side.

kuyt played 3 games in a row upfront while torres was injured, 90 minutes in each game... and didnt score once.

What about the Wigan game in Anfield?

well done. one game.

one game where kuyt started upfront and scored.

so many more games when he started upfront and couldn't score.

keane had games at the start yes, but he was getting used to new systems, new teammates etc. kuyt wasnt

i agree keane should go

but him leaving and no1 replacing him is madness.

babel isnt good enough, kuyt upfront is like giving crusty the clown a job as a FBI agent, ngog wouldnt even destroy in the championship

so torres is it.

We have been struggling for goals recently so what does Rafa do?
Sell a proven goal scorer at top level and doesn't replace him!

Brilliant

Everyone should realize, if we sell Keane, some things are bound to happen:

1.) Torres injury

2.) Keane will score against us in our final game.  Might not matter, might decide the title.

3.)  We will sign a defensive midfielder.

Its just our luck.   :D

Weak memory. Remember the hundreds of sitters by Keane.

Keane = Kuyt

Both not good enough for a big club like Liverpool.

Why do ppl actually think its a good decision that we sold Keane?

We where top of the league when he was starting games this season, Yes he might not have scored many goals, but his movement created spaces for players such as Gerrard to score that did win us games!

1721: Arsenal fans, don't look: One of our news agencies is claiming that Zenit and the Gunners have failed to reach a deal on the transfer of Andrei Arshavin. It is only one source, though, so we will try and get more on that as and when we have it.

hang on, how can we flog Keane and label him as :censored: when we still have Babel on our books?!?
