Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

pathetic how everyone is trying to pass this on to Parry, Rafa bought him failed to utilise him and is now willing to pass him on after 6 months, 6 months! for FFS! it wouldnt nearly be as bad if we had a replacement lined up, but we have nothing. This club is turning into an absolute joke

Good luck to Keane, he got  shafted so is probably doing the right thing for the good of his career, wouldnt suprise me at all if goes back and starts getting the goals again.

We dominate Chelsea without Keane even on the bench and win 2-0, but now that the ghost is gone were panicking?

ahh the league doesnt revolve on one game

A team that can beat Chelsea like that, if everyone turns up, will give United a run for their money.  Except United wont be so sloppy in their passing, so expect a more two sided game. Even when keane was on the bench he didnt come on, even when he was on the field he didnt score, and even when he started he didnt get 90 minutes.

Oh no.

17.01  THE TRANSFER WINDOW DEADLINE HAS PASSED. Big deals for Andrei Arshavin, Ricardo Quaresma and Robbie Keane are still to be finalised although the weather may have played a part in delaying the conclusion of negotiations. We will continue to bring you news of any deals through the evening.

Totally agree.  Just cos the Keane move has been a flop suddenly Rafa doesnt get the blame.

Even when torres was injured last time, Keane still didnt always get a spot.  Rafa just didnt want to play him, no point of keeping him here then.  He doesn't play what we want to see, just his line up.  And as long as he's the manager, I won't care to see Keane go.  He wont get a chance, no point in keeping him.

Torres, Kuyt, Babel, N´gog - I guess.

I think Rafa confirmed his decision to selling keane after the EPL Everton game.

As long as Rafa gets his new contract I don't think he will be particularly worried.

exactly, you reckon if Keane had scored 20 goals people would be questioning if Rafa really wanted him

man utd have 3 world class strikers on their books...if Torres gets injured again (and i pray he doesn't) we are soo screwed it isn't even worth thinking about.

Some might pretend that Keane did F**k all, but he did get some goals and he did create some too. I really can't believe the club has let Rafa and Parry f**k around with our transfer system, just to score points off each other.

He doesnt deserve one yet.  We should wait to see how this season goes and then decide.

There was no point in us keeping Keane. I had faith in the lad but he never produced. he's a proven Premier League player and couldn't break into our first team on a regular basis. As far as I'm concerned we should take the (reported) £15m while it's on offer before it hurts us more. Any news on Saviola?

Tevez might leave, we should :censored: pick him up.
