How does someone know the players feel the tactics are stiffling ?

and how does someone know that rafa has lost confidence in certain senior players ?

Hotline to melwood ?

GYBS, we DON'T KNOW.

Like the topic title, I am just trying to understand what is really happening, without Rafa telling us everything.

But I am CERTAIN there is something happening on the background but I can only speculate what it might be.. from what Rafa said, his body language, his substitution, etc.

Isn't this what forum debate is all about?  :;):

Sorry post wasnt aimed at you mate - just some people are making statemants as if they are fact . exactly we dont know what is happening - people are adding 2 and 2 and coming up with 28 - we may never know what is happening .

Can any of you say with hand on heart that if we dont win any of our next 3 games that rafa will stll be here?

And the way we have been playing this season its a possibility, Rafa said he only listens to the fans well the fans are not happy, and your name is being sung less and less with each poor performance.

Whether he likes it or not whether its his fault or not, he will get the blame, they are his players at the end of the day, they are his team, if he cannot motivate them then something is seriously wrong. people like myself passed the book and blamed the yanks last season, I still hate them with a passion, but I cannot blame them in this instance of us throwing away the title.

The hard core will turn eventually if things dont improve from now on, and I would hate to see the man that give us the best night of our lives leaving us in such manor.

But it doesnt have to be the case, he needs to stop talking to the media, the yanks need to p!ss off, we have to stop conceding silly set piece goals, and score more than the other team, not sit back on 1-0.

Wigan where without 6 of their best players the other night and all we could muster was a draw its so frustrating.
And improvements are needed starting on sunday, if not I can see things turning nasty.

Even SoS have decided not to talk about rafa on sunday at the meeting incase all hell breaks loose.

well if rafa does go before the end of the season then i can see it being the worst thing that can happen and then we may well loose out on CL footy next year and things will just tumble - Rafa loves the club of that i think there is no doubt and cant see him walking away from us .

There is a possibility of Rafa wanting to leave himself his favourite club needs a manager in the summer and his name is on the vacancy list.

Dont rule anything out he could very well be engineering all this himself.

Hes a very clever man, and could make it look like the yanks sacked him. so he gets his dream job.

in my opinion rafa is engineering a move, i mentioned this in another thread a few days ago, he won't walk away as he will lose money, he is looking to get pushed out. the fact senior players seem to be against him might force the owners hand. thank christ he never signed that contract.

as for him loving the club, he loves his wage, he says he loves the club to keep the fans onside, and he uses the fans whenever he has troubles he always trots out the support of the fans to try and frighten g&h, well rafa i think you have messed that up for yourself now as well. he is hardly going to say he hates the club or the city or the fans is he so accepting he loves the club could just be folly

As much as I thank him for giving us the greatest night ever, and as much as I think he does have LFC's best interests at heart, his recent actions and decisions are simply BAFFLING and BIZARRE. Even his staunchest defenders are beginning to question him now.

I am afraid he may have found himself at a point of no turning back, willingly or unwillingly.

He saved himself once with the 360 degree turn-around in CL group stage last season (when he was on the brink of being sacked had he not won the last 3 remaining games) but squeezed thru to the second round eventually.

He now needs the same miracle, starting from Sunday. I wouldn't write him off yet.. bcos Rafa is at his best when he is pushed against the wall and when he has no other fancy options except to win, win, win.

He normally delivers and I hope he does it again. Failing to do so, I am afraid we all must be mentally prepared for his pre-mature departure/sacking.. and the dog-fight for a CL place that follows.

Quote from The Daily post this morning from Rafa.

“I can guarantee that 90% of the players – I can’t say 100% – are just talking about football.” what does this mean  ???

"Yes but it doesn't prove anything. How can you know he means that the players aren't 100% behind him. He could mean anything, maybe the players were talking about something else entirely but will talk about football later. The players are probably discussing where they'll all go if Rafa leaves, as many have already said they'll be the first out of the door. Which top manager will manage us anyway, and if Rafa had signed his first choices how do we know they wouldn't talk about football all the time. How do you know it isn't just the Parry signings who are not talking about football? "

There ya go GYBS, change it into red (sorry i don't know how to do that) and it'll save you typing it out   :D

Do people really think that Rafa wants to go to madrid where he will have no control whatsoever ?

Yes Rafa may of made mistakes in transfers or with subs and during the game but no people questioning his loyalty and integrity as well ?

Well it seems that Rafa is falling behind Souness in the eyes of some people ?

Yes I do, and dont take that as a given no control over the transfers that being the reason why he hasnt signed the contract.

Oh my goodness.. isn't that CRYSTAL CLEAR now what he means without him saying the obvious?! I just hope he can still keep the "mutiny" small and under control while winning the next 3 matches.

We have TRULY reached a turning point of his tenure here.
