Someone (maybe owzat?) said that the games against Everton were reminiscent of the games against Everton just before Dalglish resigned. I can honestly see Rafa resigning if we lose against Chelsea and Everton.

While that thought may please a few on here, I do not think it would be good for LFC. You arn't going to get a top manager in half way through the season. So what are you left with Sammy Lee ? I think if that was the case we may easily finish up out of the CL places, which in turn would mean more problems both in selling the club, attracting a top manager, and in trying to sign players.

I don't believe we have ANY option but to hope Rafa turns this around and stays till the summer.

Being right on rafa is like being employee of the week at mcdonalds, a loser and a winner at the same time.

Anyway I find it funny how some of you gave me stick and now are saying you hope we get beat in CL.

Feel free to keep abusing me if it makes you feel better about yourselves.

Peewee knows nothing about football because he is not a top manager.

Are you a Liverpool fan WeePee?

First and foremost he's a Peewee fan! :D

Peewee this "I told ya so" is pathetic lad..what age are you again..14 is it?
Everyone knows you've been reading the board and not posting in the first half of the season(while we were going really well) and popping up with the odd cameo proved it!

All of a sudden it looks like the wheels may be coming off and what a coincidence..up pops Peewee with the"I was right all along line"
Well done you lad..you must be chuffed to bits.Once again you have proven that you are a superior being and far more intelligent than 99% of the planet..lets all praise a great brain!(note the sarcasm please) cause your that far up your own shi'ebox I fear you may take that literally!
Im sure you felt great last night watching our title hopes fade to fu'ck.You just could'nt resist coming on here reveling in it,obviously being right and predicting we wont win the League means a lot to you...more than the team doing well!

Good lad..a round of applause for Pee,he's a star!
Now why dont ya fuc'k back off to your Coc'ks in frocks forum!
Bye!

:sleep

i know nothing about football obviously. the funny thing is idiots like you gave dogs abuse when it was obvious what the outcome would be and now you are having to fall into line with the people you slated as idiots

Dalglish wrote:It don't much matter in Football as in Life whether your an optimist or a pessimist, it doesn't win you accolades unless you are prepared to put the necessary work in to achieve your ultimate goal.

I'm a realist and the reality is this.............. we are currently 3rd and draw specialists whilst the Mancs have gone eleven games without conceding a goal ! ??? We need United to lose 2 games and  (they have lost 2 in 22 so far) and hope we win the majority of ours and avoid defeat at Old Trafford in March.

Whilst we arguably have the worlds best all round footballer in Steven Gerard there are too many "ordinary" footballers around him who lack the will, desire and sadly sometimes the mental ability to win through when the pressure grows.

I don't think I've felt this flat since 1996 when we entertained Coventry at Anfield and squandered a 1-0 lead and lost 2-1 to hand the initiative back to the Mancs who went on to win the title.

The debate on Rafa belongs elsewhere on here but he looked for all the world a beaten man tonight. He has been insulated from criticism in the first half of the season due to a few fairly large slices of luck ( City away, Wigan at Home, Hull at home, Utd at home) but nothing will protect him from the barrage if he clutches 4th from 1st come the end of the season as LFC did in 96.............................

Top top post...said but true...we out of it.

“We’ve been giving away too many points. Especially in the last three games, they all have something in common that I don’t like.

“I know why it is happening but I can’t say anything. The players were working had in the first half by then it was a crazy second half.

“It’s not driving me crazy. I am calm about it. You cannot control it and when you cannot change things then they will be like things for years.”

Whats he on about?  ???

Just watched Rafa's post match interview. All I can say is it was very worrying to see Rafa like that. Maybe he is still feeling the affects of his recent operations?

I think he is hinting that because he hasn't signed a new contract the players are no longer following his instructions to the letter.

gerrard and carra are mightly p!ssed off with him according to aldo and rightly so.

No one deserves a prem medal as much as these two ecspecially gerrard its not fair wouldnt be suprised if he left at the end of the season and I couldnt blame him either.

Are we still in it? Well technically yes of course we are and we will be until it is no longer mathamatically possible.

Do we have the balls to take it all the way? Not a chance in hell guys.

Between Rafa not playing his best team, his subs and players not performing we will never win the league not to mention some of our players are just npt good enough.

Wake up and smell the coffee.
