no need to embarrass yourselves in here, i will accept apologies via pm

That's fair enough because if we won the league, first I'd celebrate, and the very first post I'd make after the celebration would be a request so that you make another glorious letter to Rafa, like the one after he won the Champions League.
So, I can take the stick now

But, like the English say, it's not over until the fat woman sings or something, so perhaps this taking the píss is a bit early.

Jokes and banter aside, I think I'll avoid Rafa defending from now on. What's the point? those are topics in which no matter how eloquent you are you won't convince anybody if they're already convinced. So no hot defences from me, that is, discuss matches, players, systems and substitution yes, but no defending new contracts or defending the man, it would only yield to endless discussions.
Let's see what happens. Considering Rafa's credit was very damaged last May, not only for some fans, but also for the Americans who were looking for replacements, I don't think Rafa will have much time in the club if the things at the league table start to look really ugly.
If whoever comes next makes a better job than Rafa I'll be the first to be happy. I hope you're all right about that certainty of a better future with another manager.
