As for Andy, not that he hit you hard. I remember that in the first year I laughed a lot with your posts but couldn't understand some bits and asked a couple of Irish friends I have in San Sebastian. The young guy did find you very funny, the old woman didn't, it's just that some people appreciate more that kind of stuff than others, I don't think it's personal.

If I said that "And G, who works in the arts, is gayer than Graham Norton in a Brighton Pink Parade", wouldn't you be slightly curious as to why, given our almost complete lack of previous communication?

if my gayness was being openly discussed on the forum i wouldn't really care who voiced an opinion. in footy chat i don't wait to be invited to contribute to an open subject and i don't see why i should in gen chat either. obviously, if i'd just decided to mouth off about you out of the blue i could see why you'd have an issue with that. but i didn't, so there
