Igor posted up both teams the day before the match Lakes. Apparently some bloke on RAWK knows the inside track. On the button he was for both.

???
Benitez has lost the plot in the second half of the season, as it was the case in the previous three seasons, this is not a surprise to many of Liverpool fans, he is a negative manager full stop, who lacks the skill to get the best out his players, and by applying his most expensive method of TRY & ERROR, How many players he had bought expensively in order to apply them to this method!; and he had failed miserably for it, and the latest one is in R. Keane case!!!!!!.

This week is very important for Liverpool; the must requirement is six points regardless of the performances.

I do not care if he leaves, he has been luck so far, with a responsible and rightful club ownership who care for interest of LFC, he would have been sacked a long time ago, but he still here today, only for the disgraceful and profiteering American ownership who are the least interested in the club management affairs or the club as a whole!!!!

The longer we go on not making an emphatic statement on the pitch, the weaker Rafa´s position becomes ref contract/transfer control  demands and makes him look an oaf.
The Keane issue is extremely embarrassing for Rafa and if he does go I suspect he will look back and say it was the issue that tipped the power game out of his hands.

Gerrard piles on problems for Fergie12:41, January 26, 2009
Steven Gerrard's FA Cup equaliser for Liverpool against Everton means United's clash against the Toffees will be played next Saturday.

The Reds skipper fired his side on level terms during the fourth-round Merseyside derby showdown at Anfield on Sunday afternoon which means the two sides must meet again at Goodison Park on Wednesday February 4. As a result Manchester United's game against David Moyes' side which was initially scheduled for next Monday due to live TV purposes has been put back 48 hours to this coming Saturday.

That has handed Sir Alex Ferguson more problems because he faces going to West Brom on Tuesday without 12 senior players due to the ever-increasing injury crisis developing at Old Trafford. And he was hoping to use next weekend to get the likes of Rio Ferdinand and Wes Brown fit after long-standing back and ankle problems respectively, while Park Ji-sung might have made a comeback from a minor hamstring complaint.

However with Everton now visiting Old Trafford on Saturday it robs United of two extra days to try and boost Fergie's selection options.

It is the latest change to United's fixture list as the home match against Portsmouth on February 28 has been postponed because of their appearance in the Carling Cup Final the following day. And should either United or Fulham require a replay in their respective FA Cup fifth round ties against Nottingham Forest or Derby and Swansea then their rearranged game at Old Trafford due to take place on February 17 will be again moved.
                 ---------------------------------------------------

All part of Rafa's masterplan ........ then some people doubt that Rafa's a genius !

I see the amount of people wanting rafa sacked at the end of the season has shot up since the FA Cup game - fickle

How come there isn't an option that says 'even if he wins the league, should he go?' This might sound stupid but hear me out...

I find it surprising that no one has mentioned the quality of football played under Rafa and what that would mean if he stayed, regardless of a trophy at the end of the season or not. I was delighted when he came because we were shi.t and he really turned the club around. The football under GH was shi.t and negative, but he bought poorly and it showed.
Rafa has bought better, yes, but he's not playing the team to its strengths. He worries more about Stoke's abilities at Anfield than what Liverpool can do to Stoke. That's a problem of attitude and that's not going to change. Why? Rafa has his system and that system has heralded two La Ligas, an Uefa Cup, A Champions League and a FA Cup. His system works and if it doesn't work on a particular day, it must be the players performances. This is how the man thinks.

I'm an admirer of Dirk Kuyt but he's not in the team to produce anything special or get on the end of crosses - he's there to neutralise their full back. End of. (And he does a great job). If you're right midfielder is there only to stop the other team playing, there's a problem. A problem of ambition and inventiveness. This is why we never get more than a handful of decent chances. He has two players to that, the rest are there to stop the other team scoring.

Rafa isn't interested in attractive football. His mentality is 'don't concede' and would be happy if we won every game 1-0 with one shot on target. Now, a lot of people would not have a problem with that as long as we win. I disagree. I want Liverpool to excite me like they did when I was a kid and, given the talent at our disposal, they can. They won't though, not under Rafa.

I keep hearing Rafa on about 'controlling the game' and ' we created chances'. I don't know what games he is watching but controlling the game by passing it around your back four and TWO defensive midfielders AT HOME against a relegation side is bunk. Blocked shots from 40 yards out isn't a 'chance' either.

Willing to let Alonso go for Gareth Barry? Come on, lads. What a statement of intent - willing to forgo proven class for dependable mediocrity. If Barry was all that, he still wouldn't be playing for Villa at 27 years of age. Alonso was off the boil for a bit there but he's returned to his former form somewhat of late. But why did he go off the boil? He was brilliant when he came here; he was our quarterback, spraying passes around him goodo. Then that stopped. Why? A player doesn't just stop being good just as he's heading into his peak years. I doubt any player in a red shirt does anything without Rafa's consent. Alonso was probably injecting some individuality on the pitch and Rafa cut that out.

It's as if he's not interested in scoring more than one goal a game. Look at the way he treated Crouch - stuck with him for months when he wasn't scoring and dropped (sorry, rotated) him when he did start. Ditto for Keane this season. Didn't he score a brace and was dropped the game after and played about 60 mins in total since. There are two positions on the field that need a confident player more than most - up front and between the sticks. A striker needs a manager that believes in him, that will stick with him through a drought. Do we have that in Rafa?

He plays predictable, one-dimensional football that's so easy to defend against. How many draws this season? 12 in all comps? That's just not good enough.
AND HERE COMES AVI COHEN!! OH I SAY - AT THE SAME END HE'S GOT ONE BACK!!!!!!!!!!
