You would think with all his pace, Babel would run at everton and commit their defenders, but he does the usual punt ball and try and outpace the left back.

It has never worked.............he seems void of ideas................like the rest of the team.

Torres isolated and fed up on his own. Get Keane on, least he might pull some defenders away and create some space.

Poor poor performance

Babel is a real waste of talent...he is a real diamond in the rough....but think he is in the wrong club. If he was in arsenal, he would have developed better.....

Here he is coached more on defensive work than attacking work....

Down at melwood often are you?  :no

Nope....babel himself mentioned this in an interview.....

You have any more questions....newbie (clone).....  :Oo:

You are one of most clueless on here.

How the fuc'k is our players not playing well rafas fault?

Because he is the coach and its his job to get them playing well.

Shankly would have never let this happen he would have got them spouting blood and in full football rage !

A player blaming someone else for his poor performances?  Unheard of!

The problem of having a great deal of possession but no threats is not something new.
Though I do not understand what is the whole point for the possessions if you do not intent to make good use of it.
Another thing I don't understand is the lack of threat from set pieces like a corner.
Liverpool's corner are laughable most of the time. It can never reached beyond the first goal post before someone headed it away.
Why do we have such horrible crosses? Doesn't Rafa value crosses or he just like them playing like the old german way.
Simple one two one two pass square no longer works. He either develop something new with the german's style or totally abolish it.
We desperately need someone who can run at defenders to create chances and to draw the defenders away.
We need to attack and run with the ball as well as running and passing facing the opponent's goal.
At least with running we can try to get some cheap free kicks just outside the penalty box.

We have no idea how to break teams down. We don't make use of counter attacks and we don't provide great crosses.
Dossena and Arbeloa crosses are atrocious at best. Either they are just floaters slowly dropping in the penalty area which can be easily dealt with. Or just too under strength that it never has the right altitude and speed to reach the intended area.
Bad crosses....

And what's the deal with Dossena trying to shoot at the corner flags?
I believe he tried to shoot twice in the penalty area and both time we know how far it was from the target.
Can't he even shoot? Seriously....

End of day if rafa can't get the team winning its his fault and he should leave.

Just as he got all credit for CL final win he has to take blame when things don't go well.

Simple and way it always has been.

when we get into crossing positions on the right (like just then at the start of the half) - why do we always pull it back to whoever's on the edge of the box to loft in a high, floating cross. we do it nearly everytime... and its getting a bit preditable!
