Sorry 'bout that   :D

Anyway, I'll be very interested to see what the gaffer has to say about Keane later on (as he will surely get asked about him). Other than that the team is looking good, though I do fear a bit for our left side defencewise with Dossena and Babel. Still think we'll win 2-1 though :;):

Best to get shut if true get Michael owen back.

The first line means that Keane went mad in the press or the was a huge discussion? (not sure)

What happened?

I was optimistic Rafa wouldnt go down the 'weakened team' route today with it bein evertit but I never dreamed he'd leave a 20mill striker outta the squad completely.

Yeah of course, we can’t blame players for breaches of discipline and unprofessional behaviour, especially if it’s Robbie Keane.

Dont blame him either mate!Hes been treated like a leper with the black death! :no

the only thing i can think of is that he could just about to be sold.

and WTF is Dossena doing stating?

my thoughts exactly. why spend money like that when weve limited funds and treat him like this. there are worst players at the club than him. dossena is another waste of funds. rafa just wrecks my head sometimes
shamrock rovers and liverpool are not a matter of life and death to me. they are much more important than that.

We all get pi$$ed off mate, but not many of us made to look a tw@t by our gaffas are we. Certainly not in front of so many people. Sure, Keane aint done the business on the pitch like we hoped he would, but had he been given more full appearances who knows? Defences get tired, mistakes happen etc....

Yes, totally unprofessional I grant you, but understandable in the circumstances I think. I know my gaffa would get the same 'respect' if he made me look a cnut so often.
Stu Averill, a wannabe Scouse/Scot. I remember the good times & have faith in them comin back

Beside the Hillsborough Flame, I heard a Koppite mournin, "Why so many taken on that day?" Justice has never been done. But their memory we'll carry on. There'll be Glory Round The Fields Of Anfield Road

"stormed out"
You can see why, he loved Liverpool as a kids and a FA Cup game like this is stuff dreams are made of........and then not to be picked!

If it was me thar did not make the team and they had paid 20mil for me then i think i might start looking for a new club.

All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing

Rafa is going to try and continue the season without Keane as much as possible. I hope it doesn't backfire on him.

agreed I feel way rafa man manages his players is a joke !

Keane has more love for liverpool then rafa ever will being as he has been fan as a child.

Rafa needs to drop his ego down a few levels and think about what he is doing ffs.

If we lose today only 1 person I be blaming.

I think everybody knows I've defended Keane all the season, I think he is a quality player.

But I don't share the views he has been "insulted" by Rafa with the substitutions.

Keane is playing for a top club now and in a top club there's competition for places. He hadn't tough competition with Ngog, and the only potential competition for his place were Kuyt and Babel, and those didn't have 5% of the chances Keane had to show something in that position.

So Keane must understand that at min 70 or whatever the gaffer decides he's substituted, pretty much like Alonso had to accept he was in the selling list of Rafa after showing a lot things more than Keane has so far. I guess Alonso could be angry aswell, but he did the right thing, train hard, and speak in the pitch when he was given the chance to show something.

That's exactly what Keane has to do.

If Mascherano had walked out on Monday because he wasn’t in the starting line up I am sure he wouldn’t receive the same sympathy from fans. And he only cost a few million less and was one of our best players last season.
