3) Silent Unseen, small cousin of death
Born this instant, closer than breath
Killer of thoughts, assassin of dreams
I am the end of all of your schemes
what am i?
Hint 1) It's from the Iron Dragon's Daughter

4)  Clothes of brass,
hair of brown,
seldom need to breathe,
don't need no wings to fly,
oh and a heart of stone.
With a fear of fire and water who am I?

6) Can three houses be connected to three utilities without the pipes crossing? Remember each house must have a connection from each utility.

9) Ok,you are walking is a forest. There are three trees. They all look exactly the same, except one of the trees have a leave at te top that is an inch bigger then the other two. You can only climb one tree to figure it out. You do not have binoculars so you can't see the other trees from the top of one.

How do you tell which one is different?

10) Whilst digging in a 4,500-year-old burial mound at Xiaguan in Yunnan province in central China, a parchment was found sealed inside a clay vessel for its owner to take with him on his journey to his ancestors. The parchment talks of a traveller, getting lost on a mountain, and whilst seeking safety sees two old men sitting by a fire next to the entrance of a cave. As he approached, he overheard the last part of their conversation, and he later recorded it thus.

Mr Riddle puzzle me in and puzzle me out.
Riddle me dark from the cave to shout.
The question is easy the answer is not.
It lives in the future that has yet to arrive.
I would if I could I could not and died.
Had I have lived I would have not lied.

Mr Puzzle riddle me left riddle me right.
Puzzle me bright from the fire to light.
The answer is easy the question is not.
It lies in the past that time has forgot.
Do I just jest or do I jest not.
I know the truth do I or do I not.

What was the question and answer?

Graham has solved #2, #5, #7 and #8. he is the riddler of the week  :D

OK Maypax - do you know the weight first? Or whether it will be lighter or heavier?

If so, you weigh 4 and depending on the weight the fake one is in that 4 or the other 4.

So the "4" you think has the fake you split into 2 pairs.

Weigh one pair, again depending on the weight you'll know which pair has the fake.

Weigh one from that pair and then you'll know which is the fake.
