We were unlucky with the Torres miss after he fought to get himself in a great position and Rierra went very close with a great shot. Yet again Keane was very lack lustre and did nothing worthy of his £20m price tag. Benayoun's very late tackle resulted in a free kick which lead to Everton's goal but I better not blame him or I might just get into trouble! General lack of imagination is Liverpool's main problem.
Rafa put out a very strong team tonight but when you looked at the bench that is where I see we have a desperate problem. Benayoun, Babel, Lucas, Dossena and a very average reserve goalie fills me with dread. I hate to be critical but there are just too many problems and if they are not careful any dreams of a title challenge will just whither and die. If I owned Liverpool FC I certainly wouldn't be offering a £25m contract to Rafa at this stage of the season especially as he has won nothing for the last two years.
Sorry to be so depressing and negative but it is getting to me !!
I thought that also, but the one thing I noticed was the lack of a striker on the bench.
