Benayoun's very late tackle resulted in a free kick which lead to Everton's goal but I better not blame him or I might just get into trouble! General lack of imagination is Liverpool's main problem.

Rafa put out a very strong team tonight but when you looked at the bench that is where I see we have a desperate problem. Benayoun, Babel, Lucas, Dossena and a very average reserve goalie fills me with dread. I hate to be critical but there are just too many problems and if they are not careful any dreams of a title challenge will just whither and die. If I owned Liverpool FC I certainly wouldn't be offering a £25m contract to Rafa at this stage of the season especially as he has won nothing for the last two years.

Sorry to be so depressing and negative but it is getting to me !!

I thought that also, but the one thing I noticed was the lack of a striker on the bench.

Babel should be sold as well. Not because he's :censored:, but it seems he's had his love of football destroyed by Benitez by not getting a fair chance in the team.

He just plays because he has to now. Sad to see a talented player go to waste. He'll be off in July no doubt.

Kuyt shouldnt be playing but no point talking about that as we all know he will play as Rafa loves him.  I would love to see us sign a couple quality players but were skint.

Fkn Timmy Cahill. How he can go unmarked in that situation is beyond me. Skrtel just looked at him and shrugged his shoulders. That goal was his trademark, as was Gerrard's really. Skrtel should have been all over him. Fkn shattered! My two toffee :censored: mates I was watching the game with were carrying on like they had just won the CL final. Shows the difference between the two clubs, we demand success and treat that result as a huge blow, were as to them the draw was like a win. Fkn c*nts.
Torres looked not bad tonight (11am right now for me, still no sleep) should have scored but thats football.
Kuyt and Keane were by far our worst two players.
Kuyt hasnt offered anything for a few months now and I can't see how he holds his spot to be honest, must give a great BJ!
Bring this Kuba pr!ck in, I don't know a great deal other then what I've seen on youtube but he would have to offer more then deadly Dirk does on the right.
Didn't like reading Keanos lip's when he was subbed and saw him clearly say FUKC OFF!! I know no player likes coming off but I don't think he is enjoying his football one bit at the moment and that's never a good thing.

He wouldn't be all over his as he wasn't in Skrtels zone anymore. Thats the price you pay.

I can't stand either player. Someone who loses possession so easy should never get a game in my book.

Suggest you take a look at Garcia's stats especially in Europe during the three years he was with us - goals against Juve and Chelsea on the road to Istanbul where we won the CL just in case you had forgotten. If you hated Garcia I dread to think what your view is of some of the current crop? Garcia did give the ball away but not often in dangerous positions and he didn't make Benayoun type mistakes like tonight. If I had a straight choice between Keane and Garcia I would have Garcia back tomorrow. Kuyt is also pretty low on my list of players to have a go at - at least there is a lot of effort and commitment.

I couldn't care less about Garcias stats. He was a horrible footballer, and Liverpool should have looked for better players.

This'll no doubt get lost with twenty five posts on top of it in five minutes, but I can't helpt hinking some people are over-reacting.

I thought the team was fair enough, Torres had to come off as he was clearly gone, and Keane hadn't touched the ball so I'm surprised anyone noticed. My one quibble would be if we were looking to shore it up, Masherano would have been the ideal choice, and I'd have probably brought Babel on to keep them honest. The goal was just bad defeding, it happens.

All in all though, a draw at Home against Everton isn't in itself a terrible result. It's not like some of our other Home draws, they actually are a fairly decent team. It just feels bad because we could really have done with a win, but we move on. Had we beaten Fulham, West Ham etc it wouldn't hurt so much, but we didn't so it does. As it says int he "race to stay in the race" thread, the challenge from here is to stay in touch but all is by no means lost yet.

If we want someone on the right that will JUST run run run we may as well give fkn Haile Gebrselassie a shirt and put him out there cos he would be about as good as Dirk Kuyt has been.

ill give you effort and commitment if i was wearing that jersey... doesnt say much about a player when u say he puts in effort and commitment really... its like saying hey.. hes sht but hes doing his best... which is still sht by all standards..

I pretty much tried to lift people with something similar earlier, it got lost with the bitching !

We got exactly what we deserved tonight, sloppy performance from start to finish. Terrible decison to have Kuyt and Carragher paired together on the right hand side as both offer very little going forward. Kuyt was absolute rubbish as usual but yet again got the entire 90 mins, and Rafa's subs were baffling yet again and showed complete cowardice IMO. Every week Riera and Keane get hauled off no matter how there playing, even though are both capable of scoring or creating a goal while Kuyt offers nothing and stays on. Why was Lucas brought on? did his usual of giving away a freek kick with every other touch, at a time when we desperately needed possesion. Very poor from Rafa again, and is disturbingly becoming very common in each match, every time the subs come i dread it, as you know its gonna Riera or Keane off, while rubbish like Kuyt and Lucas waste everybodys time on the pitch.
