I didn't. We don't have the players for a 4-4-2

well pretty much 95% of this forum have been cryin out for 442 mate . myself personally i want the 4-2-3-1 formation .

4-2-3-1 is a great formation. I don't know what is wrong with it. We just lack creativity on the right with that turd there. Get in a Srna who can defend and attack as well, and we would do well. Go mad and play Keane on the right of the 3, and see what happens. It can't be much worse than the nothing we have now.

Also, for both 4-4-2, or 4-2-3-1, we need to build attacks up much faster. Its one of the main things that destroy any attack we get. Players just get flooded out, and we go through the same scenario again.

Theres a good Sunday football match on too this weekend..

Heston Utd V Codderminster Wombles.  Not a huge budget game, 20 spectatators, outdoor changing rooms, and some parts of the kit have had to be borrowed, and the socks etc, do not match.

Otherwise all good. Kick off 11am. Pudsey playing fields.

Be there!

that turd ? im guessing kuyt then who when played on the right in the 4-2-3-1 scored 7 goals early part of the season and was creating chances and was close to be our best player along with xabi ?

Do you honestly believe Rafas rant has anything to do with there performance because i dont,, A player motivates himself for a game of this size. FFS who needs motivation for a derby, If the bitters were playing in the third division it would still have been the same result its a derby

I Think the starting lineup was OK (looked promising on paper), but the tactics were way off....I´m not sure if we´d do better with someone else in charge, at least we are not in 4th place....:) yet.

Oh jeez, whats wrong with people these days, last week people said we dont have players for 4-5-1, today we have people saying 4-4-2 wont work because we dont have players for that

:no

We have more players for the 4-2-3-1, we just need to speed up the attacks, and not pass it about as much. Benitez choice I think. He can have the possession as much as he wants, but if you do nothing with it, you've already condemned yourself to an under performance.

Yes, that turd. He's embarrassing. He gets a game because he had a bit of form 3 months ago, yet has done nothing since.

If this sort of performances continue, we need to start axing the people making our club a Liability.

Rick Parry should be first offloaded. dont like him, uncharasmatic and I doubt the brightest spark at LFC.

What's that? He's worse in his preferred position? Oh dear.

We rejected £12million for him. Oh God.

:D
my thoughts exactly.. id take 10pounds for him and tell him to consider being a rightback sometime in the future... no ability whatsoever on the ball and if he isnt scoring he offers nothing going forward... ONLY good thing he did all game was a square pass to carragher high up the pitch and that was it...

gives the ball away even when hes under no pressure... 9 out of every 10 forward passes he makes are either intercepted or just go straight to the opposition or out of play... no pace, no dribbling, no crossing, no finishing... why is he in the starting 11 week in week out again ?!

heh... and u lot think pennant is rubbish... absolutely baffling stuff !

I thought it was bad with Garcia, but it seems we replaced him with Kuyt, who lacks technique. We've gotten worse!

I can't stand either player. Someone who loses possession so easy should never get a game in my book.

Credit to Everton they made it difficult and considering they have serious injury problems with their strikers. I thought it was frustrating and we could have done better. We were unlucky with the Torres miss after he fought to get himself in a great position and Rierra went very close with a great shot. Yet again Keane was very lack lustre and did nothing worthy of his £20m price tag. Benayoun's very late tackle resulted in a free kick which lead to Everton's goal but I better not blame him or I might just get into trouble! General lack of imagination is Liverpool's main problem.

Rafa put out a very strong team tonight but when you looked at the bench that is where I see we have a desperate problem. Benayoun, Babel, Lucas, Dossena and a very average reserve goalie fills me with dread. I hate to be critical but there are just too many problems and if they are not careful any dreams of a title challenge will just whither and die. If I owned Liverpool FC I certainly wouldn't be offering a £25m contract to Rafa at this stage of the season especially as he has won nothing for the last two years.

Sorry to be so depressing and negative but it is getting to me !!
