LIVERPOOL VS EVERTON

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

It was a must win, unfortunately. A draw isn't a complete disaster, but we really do need to start searching for answers with these draws. Not just the manager, but the players too. Benayoun, while I don't like to make him a scapegoat, but that was just complete f*cking amateurish bollox what he did on the edge of his own box so late in the game. He just had to stand his ground.

Don't you get it mate?

It doesn't matter - We had to WIN this game. No If's And's or But's ...

Nobody's talking about the form book, this was simply a must win game.

there is 16 games to go ----- 16 fecking games to go yet .

And of those 16 games how many will Rafa do the right thing?.

How many will he keep his trap shut about everything he doesn't agree with.

and many more like we've seen recently and it'll be over after 3

If Rafa keep playing like this .. we might lose that 2nd spot and back to square one fight for 4th spot again and again ...

lads at this rate we could seriously slip out of the top four with the amount of draws we're getting. and thats a reality
shamrock rovers and liverpool are not a matter of life and death to me. they are much more important than that.

F**king totally gutted.  I've had enough. I really thought we would play with all guns blazing because that is what we needed to do.  We didn't do jack.  Instead it is all F**king bollox. F**king bollox.  My optimism is being tested to its limit.  I just can't take this F**king bollox any F**king more.

Benitez getting some undue stick here imo.

Keane by all accounts was awful and should've come off.  Torres still finding fitness and I can understand wanting to wrap him in cotton wool, therefore taking him off.

He picked a line-up that most of us wanted to see.  At the end of the day the players he put out were better than the opposition man for man, what more can Benitez do??  The players have to shoulder responsibility here, Benitez is just the easy target for stupid people.

Really? where you heard this?
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

We invited Everton on to us by taking Torres off. With Kuyt up front on his own they could sit on the half way line in deck chairs and still catch him.

:censored: Cahill.....He's a little :censored: that one.

Surely Masherano gets the nod over Lucas. This was a critical point in the season and he chose Lucas over Monster. We need another striker. We can't afford to be moving Kuyt to CF and bringing Benayon on.

Don't have a problem with Rafa's subs.

Everton had NO STRIKERS we were a goal up . Any reasonable person would think by stiffening the midfield we could hold on to that lead for 15 minutes.

The players have to take the blame for this on. Overall the 90 minute performance was dire. Lacked conviction and any suggestion of class.
