LIVERPOOL VS EVERTON

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby Zidane » Mon Jan 19, 2009 10:00 pm

Right now Kuyt, Carra and Gerrard aren't doing enough, our entire right side is just purely defensive minded and Stevie is sitting back too much needs to make more runs up the middle.  Torres had a WIDE open Keane if he would have passed and Keane had scored maybe everyone isn't saying he's playing like :censored:.  Overall the strikers just aren't getting enough support and we just aren't attacking enough.  Torres required a great pass from HYYPIA of all people to get a scoring chance and had to skin some players by himself for the other things he did.

Bit silly for everyone to just blame Keane for how we're doing.

I do not understand the logic behind playing the donkey Kuyt in Liverpool first team, this donkey will not even to break into Southend first team!!!!.

Liverpool really playing with 9 outfield players only, and Everton are much better than us so far, once again the balance of the team is wrong, Benitez got wrong again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Harsh mate , the team has been poor but no where near your rant .  I think rafa put his strongest side out there , how could he have gotten the balance wrong ?

People have been asking for this team for weeks, and yet he still gets comments like this.  What team should Rafa play for the right balance?  Babel starting for Kuyt?  Who is probably our most hot and cold player.  Benny who can sometimes not show up?

The lads need to be as aggressive as them, what the bitters are lacking in skill they are making up for in muscle and so bringing masch on is a good call for me. Made for this kind of game is our likkle monster ! :D

clown shoe's comment.  :no

He might look like he done fook all to a moron but someone who can read game see's he been working hard and making space for others.

rubbish - keane has done nothing and has been running around nowhere near the play and is not even in the game , anytime the ball has gone near him he has either been tackled or miscontrolled the ball .

He was perfectly placed in wide open space with no one around him, right in front of goal - when Torres decided to take on the goalie with 2 defenders chomping at his back.

Wake up ....

and the way keane has missed sitters he might well of easily missed that - torres was right to take it himself - did all the hard work and created himself a great chance was just rusty with the finish

Alonso would have to play more advanced for that to be effective IMO. I think Gerrard just needs to get more of the ball in the middle. He's tracking back too much. Needs to just sit.

But that would work Ste, Masher holding an Xabi pushing on ,

This, too it's still an enjoyable game for me and still think we're gonna score one in the second half.  At least I hope but it's been a typical derby match.
