Hasn't this been discussed over and over before? Frankly, I find the idea of talking about another manager when we are top of the Prem, doing brilliant in Europe and are still in a domestic cup slightly repugnant to say the least. Rafa is boss. End of.

The end of the season matters, not where you are in January.

I'll give Rafa my full backing until the end of the season despite my reservations that he will be the man to bring us the title.

He won't win it if he continues to be so negative or leaves our best players on the bench.

I know this is a different kettle of fish to Bolton but to be honest if he couldn't manage a few games there I would dread to think how things could turn out here. Some people are just better at being number 2's. I like Sammy Lee and I think he is a great figure to have as Rafas assistant as he has won eveything there is to win in the red shirt but he isn't manager material for me.

Agree with Emerald here - not the thing to talk about when we are top or even 2nd if Man U win
Wednesday and Saturday.

So is this a case of GYBS trying to stir the s1t up then. Rafa has my backing till the end of the season although I do have my reservations about him as I have publicly stated many times but at the moment I am behind the entire team.

Sammy Lee, surely you jest, he was fecking terrible at Bolton!! :Oo:

Apart from: Pennant, Garcia, Kewell, Fowler (return), Bellamy, Crouch, Keane, Sissoko, Lucas, Aurelio, Degen, Dossena, pellegrino, Mascherano, and about 10 others I cant think of right now. I dont rate any of them as being of the required standard to take us to the next level.

Rafa has made some HUGE signing blunders and wasted a lot of cash.

Rafa's only outstanding signings in five seasons have been Torres and Alonso, Babel maybe, who doesnt play often.

Rafa is the right man for the job the giant has awoken, the problem is he gives us sleeping tablets sometimes thats the problem.
I dont want another manager rafa is great, but I would really like to know what goes on in that head of his at times when, we are Liverpool one of the most famous clubs in the world why does he worry about getting beat by the likes of Stoke?

This is my only problem with him he is to cautious at times but I dont want another manager.

John Aldridge !

Problem solved, however, I think Steve Coppell could be a dark horse. :D

But if we somehow slip CIGGY as we are not garunteed to stay top by any means, if we finish 3rd or 4th, does this mean he should go on merit? as we are not really any closer.

Drawing V stoke should worry Rafa as we have failed to score versus a promoted side home or away, have failed to score in many games, have not looked like scoring in many games, have drawn too many games and failed to sieze many chances to get a decent lead when the opposition top 4 sides have dropped points ..time and time and time again. But we draw v Hull...Blackburn, Stoke, Fulham, etc. teams we should be pasting.

Rafa might be worried, coz we dont look like a championship winning outfit by the way we play.

Be carefull what you wish for with twit & tw@t in charge if Rafa goes be prepared for the likes of Steve Mc Claren as our future manager.

Do you want that?

Because the likes of Mourhino wont be coming here for those of you who want him.
