Rafa on ssn.

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby Kash_Mountain » Sat Jan 10, 2009 12:42 am

IMO I just feel things have definately changed for the better. There is a difference in attitude now and the way these "facts" were portrayed. The fact that Rafa said those things speaks volumes about what he believes about the team.  You can bet the whole team will be buzzing.  I certainly feel the electricity in the air from all Liverpool Fans  :)

It matters not what the media come up with ie Rafa lost his cool etc etc.  The players will definately not be thinking this and that is what matters. The players will be relishing each and every game.

I saw the whole thing on Sky SPorts news and I was horrified!

why rise to the bait? We are top but a long way to go still!

Fergie, big game time with chelsea and he is nervous!

Despite all of Rafas's pojnts being true, why show it?? IT just just shows we LFC are really bothered BY IT !!

seeing Rafa come out with facts that rafa has rehearsed on his sheet, was little embarrassing and just plays into the hands of the scum.

We are top now, can we stay there! ??

and

"we are in an excellent position. We have been playing below par and without the best player in the world!Half way through and we are still top!"

has absolutely fück all to do with it.

We'll see over the next couple of days whether this has blown up in Rafa's face or not, or whether it turns out to be a benefit.   ???

But, as said, it's already being portrayed in the media as Rafa's "outburst".

Have you ever wrote anything positive on here?

As my mate told me in the pub today imagine we won the league this season, Fergie's ambition will be gone almost because he weould have to win 3 league titles to overtake us as the best team before retirement(of course in which time he would of died of liver failure)

We ALWAYS needed to beat Stoke, nothing's changed about that.

The problem now is that the ball is in Fergies court and his response tomorrow could be bad for Benitez.

if you think about it, it is very very clever by rafa. Now the referees will know that the spotlight is on them and will be more willing not to buckle under man utd's pressure from staff and players. Secondly, this has made ferguson think twice about playing mind games with the referees before big matches. Rafa had just negated the mind games that ferguson likes to play with the referees.

I am just abit worried there might be a backlash by FA asking rafa to explain about ferguson is the only manager to get away with these things...

Everyone should relax, this doesn't decide the title for us and neither will Ferguson's response.  Everyone should be proud that Rafa had it in him to do this who knows if we will win the league but this should still be seen as a positive and not the thing that is ruining our title challenge.

Personally I think Rafa wanted to get this out of the way now, have Ferguson respond then never say anything back again and go back to his old self.  This would probably make Ferguson furious and would work in our benefit.  I honestly don't see Rafa as the type of man to keep going back and forth with this he just wanted to say his piece and it had great timing with Chelsea and Man U playing on Sunday.

Anyway people shouldn't even worry about the war of words or whatever that may or may not go on, we just need to get our results end of, regardless of all this stuff.

whatever,  your probably another petro or something and you live in Cheshire so your probably a manc.

In answer to your earlier :censored: post,  Don't you think it is  about time someone stood up against the purple nosed :censored:? Benitez has timed it effectively to spur our own players on and it is just good that we are in this situation even in January
