i thought at some stages we played really well and we're looking very strong. really disapointed in keane again but bable ????? can someone point out 1 good thing (or anything at all ) that he did in this game. the guy was less han useless again and didnt get taken of. what is the story with this player. other players have had dips in form during the season, and came back stronger after a few games out of the side but he has not improved at all and is actually under performing at an alarming rate. anyone else despair with him ?
shamrock rovers and liverpool are not a matter of life and death to me. they are much more important than that.

So happy to see Torres back and the goal was a nice pressie too. Anyone know yet how bad Alonsos injury is? He wasnt using crutches so hopefully it's not that bad. Even Mascherano looked to be in a bit of pain.
My new blog for my upcoming holiday.

It's almost starting to feel that way isn't it?  His head is just all in the wrong places I felt like if he were to put one in he would be okay but he didn't and it just makes you wonder if he will ever straighten himself out here at LFC.  He's better than this and he's a good character but I don't think Rafa or the fans will put up with TWO players missing sitters like this all the time. I thought Agger had one of his best games of the season today. Up against two big rough strikers and handled them very well. Carra showed a few of his limitations at full back, but also his strength and determination as a defender.

Lucas started very well when he came on, but seemed to disappear as the game got more frenetic.

You just get the feeling with him too that he is interfering with the teams pattern, maybe that is me being to harsh but he seems to be wanting it far too much which is a shame because their is players who have played for us that don't give it :censored:.But the way the team is shaped now it's for the one up striker and their is no competing with Fernando

Yeah Lucas had like a good five minutes then dissapeared when Preston started to take us over then again so did everyone else it's weird how games can just turn around like that so suddenly.  And I wouldn't put it all on Xabi being out either Preston deserves a lot of credit for that 2nd half performance.

Since when has Keane been a lethal and ruthless finisher that never misses a half chance? If you've been watching him all his career playing for his country and various clubs, you'd know he's prone to missing quiet a few of these sitters. Just because the club spent 20 million on him, it all of a sudden won't transform the man into a Ian Rush in front of the net. He is what he is. Prone to mistakes, but does his fair share of other stuff on the pitch. His goal tally will balance his "sitters" out at the end of the season. Judge him then.

He played well Nanny, but you expect Sami to play well against big slow forwards.

I think its going to be difficult for all 4 of our CB's to hold a regular place now Skrtel is back.
