the clicky clacky sound they made as you walked across the concrete to the pitch was what it was all about. once i was making that sound i just knew i'd arrived.

great idea mate, so why has abuse etc been alowed to go on day in day out for so long on here without posters being banned etc.

i can think of alot of posts recently by people who get personal with insults, who are probably total wimpy w@nkers in the flesh, but feel fecking hard behind a keyboard! you know whay i'm saying
otherwise you wouldn't of started the topic. as much as i think the mods do a resonably good job,i think that explanations as to why certain posters get banned & others don't get's people's backs up
& that's why discussions go totally off track & turn into a personal slanging match cause they know they will get away with it.

please answer me this question why was peewee banned?

i would like to know, or am i not alowed to know.
i used to enjoy reading posts on this forum & joining in discussions etc, but for a while now it just winds me up having to read comments from people who from what they say have never been to a game or no nothing about our history yet throw personal insults to try & justify their actions, in their totall lack of knowledge, or you have the posters who think they know everything about the club, wont listen to other people's opinions & again just dish out personal insults cause they think they are right & will get away with dishing out vile comments.

discuss football on this forum, without personal abuse etc is as rare as rocking horse sh1t, i'd love to have a fantastic debate/discussion about our beloved club with one & all but know it will never happen,as long as people are allowed to get away with certain behaviours.

ps i still prefered it when the ball was brown & had stitching in it!! the ball is to lightweight now.

The most worrying thing about the recent spate of abuse is some of the usually more restrained and polite posters have been doing a fair bit of it. As for the Mod's they just can't win, if they clamp down hard they get called Nazi's and accused of ruining debate, if they let things go people seem happy enough until its them being abused ...... then of course the Mods are too lenient and should step in sooner.

I still think the immediate 24 hour ban is the way to go, stops any argument dead in its tracks so they can't escalate and when the member comes back they don't have a yellow card to keep reminding them of their "grievance". Maybe fire a warning shot over their bows by PM first, then if they don't stop press the eject button.

And what about when you got Mods like Woof, Supersub and Leon doing it constantly and baiting? What happens then?

Then you have problems mate. I agree that some of the mod's behaviour has been out of order recently. (I can't say any more than that or I will be banned  :D  )
