Mr McGee, a father of two who is thought to be a supporter of Liverpool’s great rival, Manchester United, was taken to hospital, where he received treatment for facial injuries before being released. His family said that he suffered a cut nose and swollen eye and was given four stitches. He also lost a tooth.

A Merseyside Police said: “We are investigating an assault in the early hours of the morning on Lord Street.

“Officers attended a licensed premises where they detained six people on suspicion of Section 20 assault."

Unfortunately, this is a contradiction in terms.

S.20 is GBH - this is ALWAYS serious.

Either the copper is an idiot, or the papers are talking out of their a*ses.

I'm guessing the papers are chatting b*llocks again.

Another attempt by the papers to get the c*nt some sympathy.

"Father of Two" - what they fail to say is:

"Smack-head scrotum with a criminal record as long as a race track".

Pity it was only 1 tooth, the scum-sucking b*stard.

I said I wouldn't post on here again but after reading some of the cack posted thought i would make one post.

Section 20 assault does not need to have a serious injury, a bruise or a small cut would constitute a section 20 assault,  So I don't see any policeman here not knowing what he is talking about unless people consider a lost tooth or a shiner to be a serious injury.

on another note, the rumour is kuyt is there and he tried to kick the bloke in the head but missed   :D

The more serious thing to worry about here would be a charge of affray.

That's b0ll0cks that Peewee and a cheap shot. The truth is Kuyt kneed him, by accident   :D . The bloke wants to count himself lucky that Dirk didn't try and control his head, feck me he'd have been knocked into the middle of next week.

Disclaimer-I'm just kidding, I quite like Dirk as a right midfielder.

sorry fellas but this is going to scupper your chances of the title, I personally feel you'd have cocked it up anyway but now your talisman has this hanging over him he wont be able to churn out ther performances..shame the court case will be in a few months and he'll probably get a fine or at worst community service!
