You never know with cops, even if you are not directly involved you can get convicted of something.

Look at that Hells angel who got shot on the M40 motorway.
One man , one bullet, one dead fat biker!

SEVEN people convicted of murder getting 25 years each!

it doesnt matter what your act is, its the consequence of it that imposes the offence, I can glass who I like, if it does not do any damage then it could be classed as a simple assault right? obviously theres an intention there but if there's no damage I cannot be penalised for my intention alone.

we can only speculate, we have to know the extent of the injury(ies) suffered by the victim before we can give a specific offence that has been committed

even then we dont know how the injury (if indeed there is one) has been caused and even if it is Gerrard who has, or played some part, in causing it
All round the fields of Anfield Road

It might be slightly understandable if he was a immature 20 year old player but he isn't. He's a 28 year old who is captain for one of the biggest clubs in the world so he should act more responsible. Everybody is entitled to a drink and the media shouldn't make a huge deal if a player does go out. However, hanging around in a pub at 2:30 in the morning and getting involved in a fight isn't exactly ideal. The fact that he's still in police custody is worrying and he only has himself to blame.

So youve never gone on the ale with your mates then. The lad didnt go out looking for trouble it happened he was there . It happens sometimes. It could of been the pope having a bevvie in the same place an if something kicks off he would of been nicked an all.  Why shouldnt he be out at 2-30 the lad most prob had a day off today

We need to calm down a bit because as it stands nobody knows any details.  Especially before we go on about glassings etc.  It could be a variety of different things that happened.

Nannys right mate, I never go out on the lash looking for sh!t but sometimes its finds me, everyone's entitled to go out and relax with their mates once in a while. I'm sure he enjoys celebrating every Liverpool win the same way we like to. He'll be sleeping in his own bed tonight I'm sure

We know for certain that someone was taken to hospital for facial injuries. We also know that Stevie and others were arrested on suspicion of GBH.

Facial injuries and GBH = Glassing/Bottling in my experience.

Not saying that is what happened, but on the basis of what we know to me it seems likely.

GBH can be anything.

Some fella punched me in the face years ago he got charged with GBH.

I've checked a Manc forum to say what they're sayin, they're lovin this like. Some of the stuff they're sayin is well out of order, had to go off it, it was either that or start givin them sh!t  :D

I reckon Stevie's gonna put in the performance of his life in at Stoke, watch this space  :nod
