I was going to start this one with a "The worst thing" but that is too easy, so here is a tricky one.

What is the best thing to happen this year? the one thing that made us feel good about life?

Im not talking personal experiences so newborns or whatever are not allowed. This is a general all rounder, news that has benefitted us rather than hindered us.

Id say, computer games. A lot of stinkers are out there but occasonally that one classic comes out which rules out the poor ones.

Other than that im struggling !

What are the good things this year has given us?

good question. let me think..........to be updated :D

ok urmm, im gonna say savings. the economy fell badly this year and all the little savings you had, be it in a jar or a tin or a bank was useful. all those times you thought ''i rather save it for a rainy day'' then to spent on some materialistic item which is a want, not a need were good decisions. so savings has been very important not just this year though but always.

computer games ? ! Jesus mate , there is life outside your room . For me it was the news that british troops will be leaving iraq in 2009 . Plus being top of the table .in fact i would say computer games is the worst thing as it just means more kids sat on their :censored: getting fat in front of the telly playing some game instead of being outside kicking a ball around or actually interacting with other people . Olympics is a good thing this year and how well the brits did which hopefully has encouraged more people to actually take up sport as opposed to computer games

British troops leaving iraq. We'll believe that when it happens, but even so that will be next year not this one if it is true, and will be a good thing.

The olympics, yes. Forgot about our achievements there and all of them did the country proud.

Other than that though, not much else is there?

Computer games. My point was the quality of games being released, they do seem to be getting better every year and so I mentioned this as a good thing.

There is a life outside the bedroom your right, we occasionally take the games downstairs !  :D
My kids are usually playing outside with there mates, playing football, kicking the ball into peoples yard, annoying them, annoying us also so in they come. Its hard for the kids to find entertainment outside when the council take away the swings, slides and whatever and replace them with ... well sod all ! So indoors they come playing on there console causing no trouble to anyone.
