4-5-1 with Kuyt up front Id say.
Right what I will say is this...we take anything but 3 points today and Rafa has left out Alonso,Riera and Keane its his fault. On the other hand if we win it will be a job well done with 3 important players rested! :D

3 of our best players against Bolton Reira, Alonso and Keane all on the bench  :no

What has Kuyt done in the last 3 games to warrant a start?

There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Just heard that Ciggy, Lucas starts as well  :(

must be a 4-5-1 with Gerrard supporting, I'm worried about the pace of their wingers to be honest

That was not the team I expected to play today. I, for once, was sure Keane wouldn't be dropped today.

I can understand resting 1 or 2 players since we only played 2 days ago..but there is no way Keane should be left out,he's not gonna be feeling tired after scoring two, more like chomping at the bit to play again.
Rafa has set himself up for a hammering should we not win today.
A lot depends on what sort of performance we get from Babel and Kuyt, both have been dire lately! :(

Rafa will be slaughtered if we don't win this game...and rightly so after all the needless tinkering.

Was Kuyt injected with the "super solider serum" ? Why does he have to play every game ?.... even when he was the worst player for us against bolton ?

Gosh....... And also, does benitez want keane to lose form ? If u look at keane's stats from previous seasons, he usually scores in "a patch".... He scores 3 goals in 2 games and is dropped ?

Newcastle playing with 5 defenders. David Edgar, Jose Enrique, Fabricio Coloccini, Steven Taylor and Dirk Kuyt.

if its not Channel1, change to Channel2 and repeat process until link is found.

I'm a bit tanked up here so apologies for any speaking out of turn, but that is an absolutely ridiculous team selection. Even if we win, it's still ridiculous. Why? because we are passing up the opportunity to continue Keane's roll. I cannot believe the silliness of it. Quote me when we've won the game 3-0 by all means, that is an absolutely ludicrous team selection.

I will only quote on u on that...because i agree with it. It is getting ridiculous with Kuyt..... How he manages to play so many games and players like keane, alonso and riera get dropped...i don't know....

I read stu wrote something like benitez sometimes does things to show ppl (fans ? players ?) who is the boss.......

I don't care about the result in terms of the selection, it is absolutely ridiculous. Even if we win 5-0, it passes up the opportunity to build on Keane's little run of form. The other little nuances in terms of alonso and the rest are IMHO up for debate, bu the decison not to play Keane is laughable, ridiculous and just plain silly. IMHO of course.
