Is he better than what we have got ?

same you could say for dossena,arbeloa,benayoun,degen,keane,bellamy,morientes,gonzalez,sissoko... you should know better about rafaş signings

We have already signed htem so what is the point of covering old ground ?

The question posed is should we sign him.

On the answer you have given however:

Dossena - we had Aurelio whwo was never fit and Riise who had gone stale, so no doubt we needed someone in to freshen it up.

Arbeloa - is a good signing and will be ehre for a long time. Excellent in defence and decent going forward. Young and learning. Will prove an asset.

Benayoun - replaced Garcia - so not an improvement (IMHO) but a replacement.

Degen - no - but free.

KEane - does he improve on the pony tailed pleb whose names escames - Voronin - 200% YES.

Bellany - did he improve on the attack ? He was another option like.

Morientes - I DEFY anyone to say that before he came they thought he was garbage. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Gonzalez - our left side was Kewell at the time, so at least he played some.

Sissoko - was outstanding and just what we needed at the time. His limitations meant he would never take us further than we got with him in htere.

you can things like that,or you can say this way...

Risse,Warnock,Aurelio,Insua-all better than Dossena and younger.

Arbeloa-well he is not cicinho, nor is better than S Finnan

Benayoun-another "nothing special player",so should we really replaced Garcia with someone that LOOKS LIKE HIM,OR with someone that actually is better player?

Degen-he is not free,we pay him nice money every week for being shitt and doing nothing

Keane-well he played like Voronin so far. And for fukcin 20 milins,do we really must pay 20 milion to find better player than Voronin. Mate for 20 milions, you can pay Torres replacement,so this point about voronin is pretty much childlish.

Morientes- I and my dad never rated the guy, cause I never rate players like Morientes,Luca Toni,Inzaghi,Gilardino.
But,ok I forgive Morientes.

Bellamy,Gonzalez,Sissoko were not any kind of improvement. They were ok players, they did well in general, but if they were any kind of improvement, they would stay.

Bullard is that type of player-he will not improve us just like 20 signings Rafa made and about 20 he will make until he is sacked. Not that I want him sacked, maybe if we don¸t win the league

Could be a really good player on the right side of midfield.

Sissoko - was outstanding and just what we needed at the time. His limitations meant he would never take us further than we got with him in htere.

Dossena: Great signing, Rafa really shown his ability in the market with this one. Letting Warnock go and Riise to replace them with him was a masterstroke.

Arbeloa: Joe average. Decent but not great. But plays for Liverpool and Rafa signed him. Also at 26/27 is still a spring chicken, loads of time left to learn how to run fast, tackle, stop crosses and pass a ball crisply. Another world class signing by the genius.

Bennayoun: Ok player, Rafa's never got the best out of him consistently. Decent, not great. However I'm sure you love him as Rafa signed him. That must make him world class.

Degen: A wonderful signing. So much better than Darby and will clearly help Stephen raise his game knowing the manager rates this wonderful (joke) player ahead of him. Infact, theres no possible way this could make Darby thing (what the :censored: is this lad doing in the squad ahead of me)? and destroying his confidence.

Gonzalez: Our answer to Pires and Giggs. Another wonderful signing. Totally justified.

The others I haven't mentioned aren't worth mentioning through either being decent to middling signings or signings which could have and maybe should have worked but didn't.

Morientes, Bellamy and Sissoko all had their pluses and negatives and all could have maybe done a bit more than they did so for those Rafa can't be blamed or accused of making a bad signing, however there are many others that can.

You really think Fulham don't want him?

He's their best player by a mile. I take it you didn't see the Liverpool vs Fulham match this season then? He's a hell of a lot better than Mascherano and Lucas thats for sure. And Kuyt... well...

Aw just fu'ck off, I don't really give a sh'it whether Fulham want him or not, whatever you think about our current squad I'm awake enough to know that Bullards not f'ucking good enough to take us forward.

With respect to your Brownie coaching badge, if we signed half the players you rated we'd be lucky if we weren't in administration already.

Get yer head out of yer f'ucking a'rse, it's almost xmas and maybe that knock on the door is Rudolph returning your brain cell.

Well he's not better than Masherano Stu, albeit that he is a good player and a completely different type of player. Incidently I agree that he's their best player by an absolute mile, why are they letting him go (It's probably the end of his contract being nigh I'm guessing).

He's a really nice footballer I think with absolutely bags of awareness, and yes he currently would offer much more than Lucas. Another thing with him, he's probably the best free kick striker in the whole division I should have thought. He almost always hits the target and at the very least forces a save. Someone if they pick him up cheap will get an absolute bargain IMHO. If the stories of Everton buying him are true, he'll be a brilliant buy for them.

All that said, he wouldn't get a game for us and at his age wouldn't be interested in occasional appearances off the bench I shouldn't think. Good player though, no doubting that.
