Chelski - The new scum?

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby maximus » Tue Aug 24, 2004 1:12 pm

With the recent takeover of Chelsea by a certain Mr Abramovich, and the pumping of millions of pounds into a 'wooden big club' for the projected 'purchase' of the EPL and Champions League.

Also the appointment of Peter 'Tinky Winky' Kenyon as CEO, the appointment of Jose (I am European Champion, show me a little bit of respect) Mourinho as the manager.

The gun ho attitude to signing players, that are worth a tenth of what Chelski have actually paid for them (Great negotiating skills from Tinky winky).

Not to mention the dispicable way in Chelskis handling of the proposed transfer of our very own Stevie, which bordered on p**s taking and pure arrogance.

Coupled with the inevitable 'demise' of Manure and Slur Alex Ferguscum

I don't know about you guys, but IMO Chelski are the New scum, and I am looking forward to beating them this season, more than any other season I care to remember.

if you think about it, if we'd beaten them on the last day of the season a couple of seasons ago and qualified for the champions league we wouldn't even be having this conversation. abramovich would never have shown his ugly face and chelsea would still be battling for the uefa cup every year.

And hopefully they never will. I've mentioned before that in the past couple of years the Chelski supporters where I work have increased from 1 diehard to 6. These other 5 have crawled out of the woodwork professing that they are 'life long supporters and have been with them through all the bad days' F*cking A*seh0les

I cannot help feeling that Chelsea will self destruct. Arsenal are the real worry.

I only wonder if it the russians didn't put the wrong guy in jail. Free Khordorkovskij, arrest Abramovich.

Chelsea will remain a "big" club as long as Abramovic is there. What will happen when he gets bored and decides to call it quits? Disaster.

Arsenal and the Mancs are traditionally the big clubs along with Liverpool, they will still be big clubs in the foreseeable future.
