Got to try and keep up with the Neighbours and throw a few digs in hey.

You couldnt make it up from well you could from a small club actually.

MORE than two decades after Everton last hoped to host Barcelona – and 83 years after the clubs actually did come face to face – the clubs will clash again at Goodison Park.

Barcelona were European Cup finalists in 1986, the year Everton had hoped to mount a European Cup challenge of their own until the ban on English clubs was inflicted.

When Everton would have went on to rule the world and win every trophey on earth.

If it had ner been fer
:D

No doubt they planned to cash in on our "defeat" against Barca.
Bit too much of a coincidence IMO.

MOYES STICKS TO HIS GUNS
By Simon Mullock
DAVID MOYES celebrates five years as Everton manager this week - and he's sticking by his claim that the Blues are the People's Club on Merseyside.

The former Preston boss caused shockwaves in the city when he arrived at Goodison on March 15, 2002 claiming that while Liverpool enjoyed worldwide fame, it was Everton who belonged to the Scousers.

Kop boss Rafa Benitez caused a similar storm after the recent Mersey derby when he laballed the Toffees "a small club", but Moyes has hit back saying: "I stick by the 'People's Club' statement I made when I joined.

"I said the people in the streets of Liverpool support Everton and I stick by that, even if it ruffled a few feathers at Anfield.

"Of course, we are still some way behind some other clubs, but we will be doing everything we can to get Everton back to where we should be."

Moyes thinks a new stadium is vital to Everton's development - even if it means moving to a site out of the city at Knowsley

He added: "A shared stadium proposal with Liverpool   was put forward and I think it is probably the one city in this country where that idea could have worked.

"But Liverpool decided to go their own way and now we must do the same if we want to progress."

Who's he kidding a shared stadium would have worked? For whom for that shower cause they are skint stick your groundshare ideas up your hole you Gollum lookalike bitter b@stard.
