I reckon that has to be in the top 5 goals ever in the prem, absolutly stunning!
Chopper:Look, you're not still angry at me about the leg, are you?
Neville Bartos : Nah, forget about it.
Chopper : Because I don't know if you remember, Neville, but I had that bloody shotgun pointed at your head. I reconsidered and dropped it down to your kneecap. Remember?

Even without the dodgy knee, Houllier never really played him enough. This one illustrates the peculiar way Houllier used to operate - he will play certain players no matter what their present form is and keep the others who has the talent but strangely not used or utilised sparingly as subs and introduced when we age totally chansing the game.

jari Litmanen is a very good example. He deserves much more starting run in the side but has always been kept as a sub whose task is to turn the game around when we fall behind. Houllier has this thing against so-called flair players.

:D  :D

The fact that Berger was never fit for more than 10 games a season seems to have fallen by the wayside, people!

Berger always scores a beauty or two in August and September before visiting his old buddy Richard Steadman for 6 months!  :D
